Abstract: The energy supply system comprises at least one protected solar module with at least one photovoltaic cell and a local control unit connected to a switching module, which is controllable in such a way that the transfer of electrical energy from the photovoltaic cell via first and second wires of a power line to a load is interruptable in the event that a verification procedure that can be performed by the local control unit has provided a negative result. According to the present invention a chip-card with an electronic module is provided for each or for a plurality of solar modules comprising a first access code that corresponds to a second access code stored in a memory unit, and that a card-reader is provided.
