  • Patent number: 11117232
Abstract: The invention relates to a downdraft table (1) having a workpiece holder (2) for a workpiece to be held, wherein the workpiece holder (2) is configured in a stationary manner, wherein a suction-extraction device (3) is arranged beneath and/or next to the workpiece holder (2), said suction-extraction device (3) being used to discharge particles and/or gases downward in a waste air flow, wherein the suction-extraction device (3) is arranged around the workpiece holder (2) with respect to the latter and is configured to be rotatable about the workpiece holder (2).

  • Patent number: 9713785
Abstract: An air filtration system with vertical construction includes a suction intake for taking in contaminated air and vertical channel. Contaminated air is taken in and conveyed downward through the vertical channel which includes a lateral opening, through which the air flow is deflected toward and conveyed through a material pre-separator. A process chamber having at least one filter element is provided downstream of the material pre-separator. A fan is provided downstream of the process chamber. The material pre-separator has an intake side and an outlet side for a particle-contaminated air flow and consists of several strip-shaped separating elements that are arranged vertically on top of one another. The separating elements are initially arranged from the top toward the bottom with an increasing positive angle relative to the vertical line and at least one lower separating element has a negative angle relative to the vertical line.

  • Patent number: 4976850
Abstract: In a suction apparatus (1) for sucking up wet and/or dry suction material there is a single suction chamber (6) having an approximately constant inside diameter over its entire height forming in the bottom region a preseparating chamber (9) for heavier parts and optionally liquid, as well as spaced above the same in the top area a filter chamber (10) for receiving a wet or a dry filter (11) for filtering before or after the preseparation. The main container (2) forming the suction chamber (6) and to be opened level with filter (11) is immediately adjacent to an electromotive exhauster unit (3) relative to which it can be tilted for emptying the preseparation chamber (9). So that the filter (11) is not subject to liquid or heavier parts to be preseparated, there is an adjustable fill level limiting device (25) with a limit switch (26) directly responding to the suction material, which switches off when the exhauster unit (3) responds and then automatically switches in again.

  • Patent number: 4801376
Abstract: A cleaner has in a tank a vacuum pump protected by a float valve above the maximum possible water level and a submersible pump at the bottom and both of these in the tank produce a vacuum for the suction of water against the vacuum, the submersible pump moving the filtered water collected in the lower region of the tank out of the tank past a check valve. The vacuum pump is constructionally combined with a tank cover, so that it can be mounted on differently constructed tanks for different cleaning functions. For wet suction purposes, the associated paper filter bag has a passage opening for the suction connecting pieces, so that the water to be filtered passes through the filter from the inside to the outside.

  • Patent number: 4787922
Abstract: A filter apparatus, particularly for filtering air containing fumes is provided on the inlet side to an exhaust fan (8), electrostatic filters (36) and a flat test filter (38) immediately following the latter. On the outlet side of the exhaust fan (8) a cartridge filter (3) with a plurality of parallel filter cartridges (26) in the flow path is provided. In the flow path directly upstream of the test filter 38, as well as between outlet (14) and the inlet of cartridge filter (3), the pressure is measured by in each case one pressure indicating device (53, 54). When the electrostatic filter (36) becomes saturated, the contamination relatively rapidly increases the flow resistance of test filter (38), which is indicated by a pressure change between the electrostatic filter (36) and the test filter (38).
