  • Patent number: 10365064
Abstract: A system and apparatus for mounting accessory devices on projectile launching devices is described. Particularly, a mounting system for rangefinders which facilitates rotary movement of mounting elements about multiple axes and linear movement of mounting elements along multiple paths is described. In the case of a device for mounting rangefinders on shooting devices, the mounting device enables the position of the rangefinder to be fixed prior to mounting the rangefinder on the shooting device so that the rangefinder when mounted is aligned and calibrated to the viewfinder of the shooting device. This enables a user to compensate for the trajectory of a projectile over the range or distance between the user and the target.

  • Publication number: 20130264966
Abstract: There have been a variety of attempts to make light-emitting display sticks, used when directing traffic at night, cheering at various events, and the like, that not only simply emit light but take advantage of persistence of vision to display letters or patterns in space. However, depending on the manner in which and speed at which the stick is waved, said letters or patterns become distorted and unrecognizable. In light of this problem, the issue is to implement a light-emitting display stick that both is suited to cheering at events and can display easily recognizable letters in space regardless of the manner in which and speed at which the stick is waved. The light-emitting display stick in the present invention contains an internal waving-angle sensor and can display undistorted letters or patterns in space by having light-emitting elements emit light in accordance with waving-angle information indicating angles with respect to a base angle.

  • Patent number: 7671631
Abstract: A low voltage differential signal receiving device includes two differential receivers, two oversamplers, a phase locked loop, and a clock edge and data boundary detection & data extraction logic module. Clock and data signals are transmitted via channels having the same circuit layout, so that the clock signal is treated as another type of data signal. A frequency of sampling input clock and data is increased via asynchronous clock, clock transition is detected, and data bytes are extracted from clock and data samples. Therefore, the clock signal and the data signal have the same delay time to avoid any sampling error due to a difference in time sequence between the clock and the data. Meanwhile, due to the accurately increased sampling frequency, the sampled clock and the data signals are not adversely affected by different factors to enable upgraded data transmission efficiency and quality at the same time.

  • Patent number: 5440334
Abstract: An apparatus and method for broadcast burst transmission of compressed audio/video programs from a stored library to a multiplicity of subscibers. The stored programs are burst transmitted repeatedly in a predetermined sequence of entire programs or segments thereof to a receiver at each subscriber's location. Each receiver is operative for accessing the predetermined broadcast schedule, inputting a subscriber's order for one or more programs, monitoring the broadcast burst transmissions for the one or more ordered programs, receiving the one or more ordered programs in a burst time period corresponding to the time period of the burst transmission, and storing the one or more ordered programs. The subscriber then enjoys full VCR-like control over playback at his convenience of the ordered, stored programs, that are then decompressed by the receiver for viewing in real time.
