Abstract: A showerhead assembly is provided having a primary showerhead and one or more retractable and extendable ancillary showerheads. The showerhead assembly includes a showerhead body having a central conduit for transporting water to the primary showerhead's nozzles. In addition, the showerhead body includes one or more ancillary conduits for transporting water to one or more ancillary showerheads. The ancillary showerheads are connected to the showerhead body by flexible hoses which can be extended or retracted from the showerhead body.

Abstract: A showerhead assembly is provided including a showerhead and a faceplate which is attachable and detachable to the showerhead's front face. The showerhead includes a plurality of nozzles. Meanwhile, the faceplate includes bore holes for receiving the nozzles. The bore holes are sized so as to have a circular outlet having a diameter smaller than the received nozzle's distal end. However, each bore holes' circular outlet has a diameter larger than a received nozzle's circular outlet so as to not impede the spray of water from the nozzles.

In addition, the showerhead assembly includes an orbiting showerhead which rotates about the primary showerhead's central axis. The primary showerhead is connected to a water source by a neck portion having a female threaded inlet. Meanwhile, the orbiting showerhead is rotatably connected to the neck portion by a collar and elbow conduit. Preferably, the orbiting showerhead can tilt inwardly and outwardly with respect to the elbow conduit thereby allowing the spray from the orbiting showerhead to tilt inward or outward relative to the spray from the primary showerhead.

Abstract: A valve for use with a showerhead assembly includes a housing having a threaded inlet for connecting to a water source and a distally located front face with nozzles. The nozzles are connected to the threaded inlet by a central conduit which is closeable by an electronically controlled valve. The valve is controlled by a processor which opens the valve based on temperature and audio signals above a predetermined decibel level.

Abstract: A handheld showerhead assembly is provided with an extendable handle. The showerhead assembly includes a handle having a proximal end affixed to a threaded hose and a distal end connecting to a traditional showerhead. The showerhead assembly's handle has a hollow housing for receiving an extension member. The extension member can be locked in a retracted or extended position by rotating the extension member relative to the handle's housing.

Abstract: A plumbing fixture including, but not limited to, an aspirating type shower head operates to add a selected scent to the spray water. The showerhead utilizes a venturi assembly where the water supply passes through a venturi. A negative pressure is created at the high velocity water jet stream point, near the narrow area of the venturi. A number of small openings in the venturi, to a surrounding air chamber, allow air from the chamber, to be drawn into the venturi. The air chamber has inlet openings for the aspiration of room air. At a portion of these inlet openings is a quick connect port to receive a scented cartridge. When not in use this opening may plugged. When one is about to take a shower and a pleasant scent is desired, a small scent cartridge is selected, bent to break the seal, thereby activating the scent material to migrate on the surrounding wick. The scent cartridge is then inserted into the quick connect port of the showerhead.

Abstract: A lighting fixture which includes a base module having first and second connectors, the connectors been selected from the group that consists of male and female connectors. The apparatus also includes at least first and second lighting modules each having male and female connectors. At least one of the connectors on each of the first and second lighting modules is dimensioned and configured for engagement with a connector on the base module; each lighting module includes a light emitting diode, each of the male connectors is dimensioned configured for mating engagement with each of the female connectors to provide an electrical connection and a physical mounting limiting relative movement between respective modules having mating connectors. In some form to the invention the connectors are dimensioned configured whereby mating male and female connectors that are part of respective modules allow relative rotation therebetween. Both the lighting modules in the base module may be cylindrical.
