  • Patent number: 11408539
Abstract: A resin line is provided with a corrugated pipe that has a wall with individual circumferentially arranged through openings. Sections of the wall are circumferentially closed. The wall has a cross-sectional shape of non-rotational symmetry transverse to a longitudinal center axis and is divided in relation to the cross-sectional shape of non-rotational symmetry into a first part and a second part. The first part has a flattened base extending in a transverse direction transverse to the longitudinal center axis across a length of the corrugated pipe. The second part has an arc shape extending in a direction of height transverse to the longitudinal center axis across the length of the corrugated pipe. The flattened base has a width measured in the transverse direction that is larger than a height of the arc shape measured in the direction of height.

  • Patent number: 11097500
Abstract: In a method for producing a hull wall of a fiber composite sandwich component, shaped bodies of extruded polystyrene hard foam are enveloped with an envelope of fiber composite material with fibers oriented at least bidirectionally. The enveloped shaped bodies have a shape for forming a hull wall and are placed next to each other in a vacuum injection structure on a lower cover layer of fiber composite material. An upper cover layer of fiber composite material is placed on top of the enveloped shaped bodies and the vacuum injection structure is sealed. Matrix material is introduced and distributed in the vacuum injection structure until the fiber composite material of the envelopes and of the upper and lower cover layers is impregnated completely with the matrix material. The matrix material is cured and the fiber composite sandwich component of the hull wall is removed from the vacuum injection structure.

  • Patent number: 10899090
Abstract: In a method for producing a fiber composite component by vacuum injection, a fiber composite semifinished product is arranged in a component chamber of a tool. A vacuum chamber is arranged adjacent to the component chamber. The vacuum chamber is separated from the component chamber by a separation material. Component chamber and vacuum chamber are sealed relative to the tool environment by a gas-tight and matrix-material tight cover material. Vacuum is applied to the vacuum chamber and a matrix material is introduced into the component chamber. The matrix material is cured and the finished fiber composite component is removed from the component chamber. The separation material separating the vacuum chamber from the component chamber has a pore size between 0.4 ?m and 30 ?m and provides a matrix material-slowing action but is not matrix material-tight.

  • Patent number: 10493704
Abstract: The invention relates to a resin line (2) with openings on the circumference and a sleeve made of a flow aid material (4). The aim of the invention is to design the resin line such that the resin line does not leave impressions on the surface of the component under the effect of a vacuum and the resin dispensing process is improved. This is achieved in that the flow aid material (4) is placed about the resin line (2) such that the flow aid material (4) tabs (8) projecting beyond the resin line (2) form a double-layer web (6), in the region of which the tabs (8) are connected together.

  • Publication number: 20140234458
Abstract: A device for producing fiber-reinforced composites has a mold with an airtightly closed mold chamber for forming a composite of fiber material and matrix material. A membrane in the mold separates fiber and matrix material from a gas suction passage. A suction connector is connected to the mold and sucks gas out of the mold chamber via the gas suction passage. The matrix material flows from the resin container into the mold chamber through an inflow connector. A sensor provided on the inflow connector or the resin connector and connected to the actuator measures actual pressure existing in the inflow connector or the resin connector. An actuator is connected to the closure element and moves the closure element, when activated by a trigger signal emitted by the sensor, from an open into a closed position so that the closure element closes off the inflow connector or the resin container.
