Abstract: A vehicle seat bottom comprises a seat cushion support pan including first and second arms respectively coupled to first and second lateral brackets of a seat bottom support frame by a pair of first and second fastening devices that extend in opposing transverse directions from the first and second lateral brackets. Each of the arms of the seat cushion support pan includes a ramped portion at a distal end thereof extending to a slot. Each of the fastening devices includes a transverse neck terminating in a head. In assembly, the heads of the first and second fastening devices snap through the slots in the first and second arms of the seat cushion support pan, and chamfered surfaces of the necks of the first and second fastening devices guide rotation of the seat cushion support pan around a pivot axis defined by the necks of the first and second fastening devices.
Abstract: A vehicle seat in accordance with the present disclosure includes a seat bottom, a seat back, and an occupant comfort system. The occupant comfort system includes a pneumatic pump and a pneumatic bladder. The pneumatic pump provides a stream of pressurized air to the pneumatic bladder to inflate the pneumatic bladder.
Abstract: An occupant support includes a vehicle seat. The vehicle seat includes a seat bottom and a seat back coupled to the seat bottom. The occupant support further includes a lift system coupled to the seat bottom and seat back.
Abstract: A vehicle seat in accordance with the present disclosure includes a seat bottom and a seat back. The seat back is coupled to the seat bottom to move relative to the seat bottom. The seat bottom is coupled to a floor of a vehicle and configured to move relative to the seat back.

Abstract: A vehicle seat includes a seat bottom and a seat back. The seat back is coupled to the seat bottom to move relative to the vehicle seat. The vehicle further includes a support mechanism coupled to the vehicle and configured to vary support provided to an occupant sitting on the vehicle seat.
Abstract: A component of a vehicle seat and method for the production thereof includes a cover having a plurality of panels with each panel including a peripheral mating surface. The plurality of panels are mated together at the peripheral mating surfaces to form a cavity and foam is injected into the cavity of the cover.
Abstract: A vehicle seat may be used in a vehicle. The vehicle seat includes a frame for attachment to the vehicle and a seat module which secures to the frame to mount the seat module to the vehicle.
Abstract: A ventilated vehicle seat includes a vent panel underlying an air permeable trim cover. The vent panel includes a vent that is closed to block air flow when the seat is unoccupied and open to permit air flow when an occupant is on the seat. Opening and closing of the vent is actuated by the weight of the seat occupant. Multiple openings can be spaced along the vent so that forced air flows primarily through vent openings directly alongside the legs or torso of the seat occupant. An effective passive vent panel can be easily made from a sheet of polymeric material with a series of elongated slits cut through the sheet.
Abstract: A seat locking system for selectively locking a pivotable seat in a retracted position and in an extended position. The seat locking system includes a lock and a pivotable locking pawl adapted to selectively engage the lock.
