    Abstract: A kit for retrofitting a plumbed eyewash station is provided. The plumbed eyewash station includes a basin and an outlet pipe mounted within the basin. Prior to retrofitting the plumbed station, the outlet pipe is used to dispense water delivered thereto by a facility's plumbing system. The retrofitting kit includes a nozzle support and a self-contained eyewash fluid delivery system. The fluid delivery system includes a portable container and a nozzle in fluid communication with the container. The portable container contains eyewash fluid. To retrofit the plumbed station, the nozzle support is mounted to the outlet pipe; the portable container is placed on a support surface above the nozzle support; and the nozzle is mounted to the nozzle support. The kit preferably includes an activation door and an actuation strap. The activation door is rotatably mounted to the nozzle support, and the actuation strap extends from the nozzle.

    Abstract: A self-contained emergency eye wash station for dispensing eye wash fluid contained in a flexible container comprises a housing, a reservoir, and a platen. The housing supports the flexible container and supports a nozzle in fluid communication with the flexible container. The nozzle dispenses the eye wash fluid from the flexible container. The housing includes a drain capturing the eye wash fluid dispensed from the nozzle. The reservoir collects the eye wash fluid captured by the drain, and the reservoir is slidably mounted to the housing. The platen is connected to the reservoir. The platen is slidably movable relative to the housing and is located immediately above the flexible container. The platen presses downward on the flexible container with a downward force proportional to a weight of the eye wash fluid collected in the reservoir. The transfer of the weight of the eye wash fluid collected in the reservoir to the platen maintains a constant flow of eye wash fluid dispensed from the nozzle.

    Abstract: A portable shower comprises an upper polygon section, a base polygon section, a plurality of hollow supporting posts, and an inlet manifold. Each of the polygon sections includes a plurality of rigid hollow joints connected by flexible hoses. Each of the supporting posts includes at least one rigid pipe, and the supporting posts connect the joints of the base polygon section to the corresponding joints of the upper polygon section. A plurality of spray nozzles are mounted to the supporting posts. An output of the inlet manifold is preferably connected to one of the supporting posts, and an input of the inlet manifold is preferably connected to a water source. With a valve along the inlet manifold opened, turning on the water source causes water from the water source to flow into the upper polygon section, the base polygon section, and the supporting posts via the inlet manifold. The water exits the supporting posts via the spray nozzles.
