Abstract: A device for controlling the opening/closing of a door wing of a piece of furniture having a body including at least a sidewall and a back and defining an inner cavity, device including casing associated with body of piece of furniture, an inextensible cable, associable at first end with door wing and extending with respect to casing between retracted position, wherein door wing is kept in closed position, and extracted position wherein door wing is opened tilted downwards with respect to body of piece of furniture, and displacing means connected to cable and movable with respect to casing, the displacing means further including elastic means. Casing is arranged outside back, first guiding means being provided for guiding cable along sidewall of piece of furniture, second guiding means being provided for deviating cable according to orthogonal direction with respect to first guiding means.
