Abstract: An adhered roofing system comprising a roof substrate, a polymeric membrane; and an adhesive disposed between the roof substrate and the polymeric membrane, where the adhesive is the cured product of an adhesive composition comprising (a) a polymer having a silicon-containing hydrolyzable terminal group, (b) a tackifier resin, and (c) a low VOC-generating moisture scavenger.
Abstract: A bond adhesive composition comprising a polymer having a silicon-containing hydrolyzable terminal group and a hydrocarbon resin, where the composition is substantially devoid of phenolic resin.
Abstract: A flashing laminate includes a non-reinforced thermoplastic sheet having a bottom surface, a first longitudinal edge, and a second longitudinal edge. The flashing laminate also includes an adhesive layer on a longitudinally extending portion of the bottom surface adjacent to one of the longitudinal edges. In one or more embodiments, the laminate also includes a release liner positioned over the adhesive tape.

Abstract: A pressure-sensitive adhesive polymeric composition comprising: (a) a butyl rubber; (b) a polyurethane; (c) an olefinic polymer component; and (d) a filler that includes titanium dioxide.
Abstract: A bond adhesive composition comprising a polymer having a silicon-containing hydrolyzable terminal group and a hydrocarbon resin, where the composition is substantially devoid of phenolic resin.
Abstract: A preformed, self adhering single ply roofing membrane includes a water impermeable membrane, a pressure sensitive, hot melt adhesive adhered to one side of the water impermeable membrane, and a release liner on the side of the pressure sensitive, hot melt adhesive opposite of the water impermeable membrane. Methods of making and using this roofing membrane are provided.
Abstract: A fortified flashing laminate includes an uncured thermosetting polymeric layer having a top surface and a bottom surface. A first layer of vulcanized adhesive tape covers at least a portion of the bottom surface of the polymeric layer, and a second layer of vulcanized adhesive tape covers a portion of the first layer of vulcanized adhesive tape to form a fortified area. The size and positioning of the second layer of vulcanized adhesive tape may be selected to fortify known vulnerable areas of flashing laminates.

Abstract: A solar panel assembly including a solar panel spaced from a surface to create a gap and a barrier movable between an open position and a closed position, the barrier being adapted to inhibit airflow through said gap below said solar panel when in the closed position. The assembly may further include a rack supporting the solar panel and resting on the surface. The barrier may be adapted to move from the open position to the closed position upon detection of conditions indicative of a fire. In this way air flow below the solar panel is permitted during normal operation of the solar panel assembly but is inhibited upon detection of a fire.
