Abstract: A movable wall partition is provided on the bottom edge thereof with a caster for rolling the movable wall partition into position. The wall partition is provided at its lower edge with a bracing step which is urged by a jack mechanism into engagement with the floor to lift the caster from the floor and to raise the top edge of the wall partition into engagement with the ceiling.

Abstract: A two-sheet or double sided folding wall or door includes panel elements which are hinged in pairs along their inner edges to one another. To permit the door to be opened into a configuration wherein the panel elements are longitudinally aligned, and to permit the door to be closed into a fully folded position, horizontal brackets are mounted on at least one of each wall panel element pair. Bracket arms extend at an obtuse angle opposite the element in the closed position. A spring set between the free ends of the two opposing brackets exerts torsional forces around the panel element hinge axes. These forces act in a closing direction in a closed folding wall and in an opening direction in an open folding wall.

Abstract: A venetian blind is provided having the usual plurality of slats. Each slat is profiled transversely of its length such that it has a central section and pair of edge sections. The control section is substantially flat and is inclined at an angle to a plane which passes through the outer edges of the edge sections whereby the blind can be completely closed without the necessity of tipping the central sections of the slats as far as in previous constructions.

Abstract: A splash partition for a bath tub or shower having sliding doors guided by a top rail and a bottom rail, the latter comprising a box profile the upper profile of which is inclined, at least the top face or the outer face being extended inwardly or upwardly by a wall of a U-groove which is open at its lowest part, each element engaging in a groove by an upwardly extending guide member.
