Abstract: A wedge-type mechanical servomotor has a primary member (1) with wedge faces (10) on which roll bodies (7) may move. The roll bodies (7) also engage faces (8) on abutment (9). Further roll bodies (17) engage cooperating wedge faces (16) on abutment (9) and (18) on secondary output member (19), and other roll bodies (5) engage cooperating faces (13) on abutment (9) and (14) on bushing (26), so that the device achieves essentially pure rolling movement of the roll bodies (5,7,17) which move between all faces on abutment (9) and faces (10, 14, 18) opposite to these faces (8, 13, 16) and supporting the roll bodies (5, 7, 17).
Abstract: A high pressure clamping device having a screw vice body, a fixed jaw arranged on one of the ends of the screw vice body, and a slide, which is retained in a guide on the screw vice body and carries a jaw movable relative to the fixed jaw. A reaction block is provided on the other end of the screw vice body to co-operate with a tensioning drive of the movable jaw, which drive consists of a force intensifier or slave unit and a threaded spindle, which can be driven by means of a common crank. The threaded spindle engages in a spindle nut of the slide. The movable jaw is positioned above the force intensifier in the retracted position of the slide and is arranged in the screw vice body between the reaction block and the threaded spindle. The spindle nut which is formed in an extension of the slide, exerts a forward twisting and downwardly directed tensioned pull on the movable jaw in its clamping position.
Abstract: In an apparatus for producing effect yarn, at least one pair of feed rollers is provided for supplying a yarn component creating the effect, this pair of rollers consisting of a driven feed roller and a pressure roller forced against it. Moreover, the apparatus has at least one supply arrangement for a foundation thread, a hollow spindle carrying a bobbin of binding thread and having a twist limiter, and a pair of draw-off rolls. A deflecting pin extending substantially parallel to the axes of the rollers is provided at the exit of the pair of feed rollers in the wedge formed between the two rollers. This deflecting pin serves to guide the foundation thread which is led past the pair of feed rollers on the outside. This deflecting pin is arranged substantially in the plane of thread movement passing through the line of contact of the two rollers and through the yarn components combined and false-twisted downstream of the line of contact.
