Abstract: The invention relates to a brake block especially for the roll carrier shaft in fabric tenters which has: two opposite braking blocks (13, 14) carried by two shoes (15, 16) which are pivoted on a support (18) and movable in a scissor action; control members (23, 24) which are inserted between the tails of said shoes for their movement in scissor action and the closing/opening of the blocks on the shaft to be braked; and an actuator (12) for the movement of said control members.

Abstract: The invention relates to an automatic spreader for knitted fabrics with an enlargening calender having a spreading table and a spreading carriage alternatively movable on said table and in which said spreading carriage (11) has an opening (13) in the middle which is transversal to the table, the sides of said opening having horizontal guides (14) transversal to the direction of the spreading of the fabric on the table and said guides having a frame (15) which is movable on it and carrying support means for the fabric to be spread and at least a pair of enlargening calender rollers (19).

Abstract: The invention regards a valvular device for the drawing of compressed air from a stationary tank through a mobile unit. The device has a fixed part 12 connected to the compressed air tank 10 with a coupling pipe union 14 and an inlet valve 16 for the air from the tank to the pipe union 15. The device also has a mobile part 13 on a mobile unit with a drawing nose 21 which is inserted into the pipe union 14 for the drawing of the air to be utilized.

Abstract: An automatic fabric-spreading carriage is disclosed, in which the turret support for the bolt of fabric is improved in such a way that return rollers for the fabric and operations of unthreading and rethreading are obviated. The turret support is rotatingly mounted on a foot step basing that has a diametral opening for the fabric perpendicularly beneath the bolt, so that the fabric passes through the foot step basing itself.
