Abstract: A pocket knife having at least one pull-out cutting tool or blade, provided on at least one side with a lateral covering covering said knife, and at least three blockable assembly axes which hold together the knife or the cutting tool in a pull-out or retracted position. A weighing element is arranged inside the pocket knife. Said element can be extracted about at least one of the axes or at least one other axis and/or is displaceably mounted during weighing. The weighing element is actively connected to a transmitting device in order to transmit the weight that is to be measured to a measuring sensor.

Abstract: According to the invention, a climate-related, or to be precise, a temperature-related correction of the altitude reading is carried out on an altimeter. In doing this, the measurement of altitude is based on an average reference temperature value at sea level and on an average air pressure reference value at sea level according to the U.S. Standard Atmosphere 1976. The correction ensues by altering the reference temperature at sea level. A correction is then carried out when the temperature prevailing at a certain altitude above sea level differs from the temperature reference value for this altitude. This temperature reference value results at sea level based on the average temperature reference value.
Abstract: The invention relates to a multifunctional tool such as, for example, a multifunctional pocket knife which is characterized by having at least one measuring and display device (12, 14) for measuring and displaying a physical value.
Abstract: The invention relates to an altimeter for detecting and displaying the altitude above the sea level of a location by measuring the ambient atmospheric pressure. In order to compensate for changes in air pressure due to meteorological reasons, such as temperature, an adjustment or reset mechanism is provided with the purpose of adjusting or resetting the altimeter to a given stored height at a given moment. This is only effected if at that moment, the air pressure that has been measured indicates height coinciding with the given stored height within a predetermined tolerance limit.
