  • Patent number: 11763097
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described for intelligent dialogue recovery in virtual assistant communication sessions. A chat session is established between a virtual assistant (VA) and a remote device. A primary dialogue is created between the VA and the remote device, including (i) requesting from a first natural language processing (NLP) service an intent associated with user messages and (ii) waiting for a corresponding response. A secondary dialogue is created between the VA and the remote device that is synchronized to a state of the primary dialogue. When the response from the first NLP service succeeds, primary messages are generated and transmitted to the remote device in the primary dialogue. When the response from the first NLP service fails, an intent is requested from the second NLP service, and secondary messages are generated and transmitted to the remote device in the secondary dialogue.

  • Patent number: 11734165
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for automated verification of visual user interface (UI) changes include a computing device that receives a baseline test report comprising a plurality of test steps associated with execution of a test against a software application. The computing device receives a recent test report comprising a plurality of test steps associated with execution of a test against the software application. The computing device matches each test step of the baseline report with a corresponding test step of the recent report. For each pair of matched steps, the computing device compares a first UI screenshot captured during execution the baseline report to a second UI screenshot captured during execution of the recent report. The computing device determines differences between the first UI screenshot and the second UI screenshot, generates a differential image based upon the differences, and stores the differential image in a data store.

  • Patent number: 11734089
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described for dynamic option reselection in virtual assistant (VA) communication sessions. A chat session is established between a VA application and a remote computing device. The VA application captures a first conversation intent generated by a user of the remote device, where the first conversation intent is part of a first workflow. The VA application generates an option selection feature based upon the first conversation intent, comprising a plurality of options and associated with a reference identifier. The VA application receives a selection of a first option in the option selection feature from the remote device. The VA application initiates a second workflow in response to the selected. The VA application detects a selection of a second option in the option selection feature from the remote device and restores the chat session to a state in the first workflow using the reference identifier.

  • Patent number: 11695561
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described for decentralized authorization of user access requests in a distributed service architecture. A gateway node receives a user access request from a remote computing device. The gateway generates a signed and encrypted access token based upon the user access request using an authorization service node and a key management service node. The gateway transmits the access token, the user access request, and a security certificate received from the authorization service to a security proxy node of a microservice container. The security proxy validates the certificate and the access token. The security proxy decrypts the access token using a public key from the certificate, and determines user authorization to access a service endpoint node based upon the decrypted token. The security proxy transmits the user access request to the service endpoint, which provides the remote device with access to services based upon the user access request.
