  • Patent number: 4306816
Abstract: A barodynamic resonator for cavitating water in a liquid mixture to form a stable emulsion. The resonator comprises a resonator body defining a chamber therein. A resonant element is adjustably supported in the chamber. An inlet nozzle admits the mixture under pressure within the chamber to form a hollow spray pattern that impinges on the resonant element to cause the resonant element to resonate at a frequency sufficient to cause the water to cavitate into finer water globules to form a stable emulsion. An outlet port is provided in the body and communicates with the chamber to provide for the outflow of the stable emulsion therefrom.

  • Patent number: 4291720
Abstract: A pressure controlled emulsion storage receiver for use in an emulsifying system. The receiver comprises an inlet for receiving emulsion, and an outlet for delivering pressurized emulsion from the receiver. A fluid inlet is provided for feeding into the receiver pressurized fluid from a source. A level control is also provided to maintain a quantity of emulsion in the receiver between predetermined limits. The arrangement also provides for the maintenance of a predetermined fluid pressure in the receiver.

  • Patent number: 4259022
Abstract: A fuel producing system for a solid/liquid mixture. The system comprises a mixing reservoir having a first inlet for receiving a combustible liquid fuel, and a second inlet for receiving a solid fuel pulverized to a mixable state with said liquid fuel. Mixing means is provided in the mixing reservoir to mix both fuels. Quantitative control means is also provided in the reservoir to measure predetermined amounts of the liquid and solid fuels delivered therein. A holding reservoir receives the solid/liquid fuel mixture from an output conduit of the mixing reservoir. Pump means is provided in the output conduit. First control means is further provided to shut off the flow of the fuel mixture to the holding reservoir to permit the mixing of further fuel mixture in the mixing reservoir. A second control means initiates the flow of the fuel mixture to the holding tank when the mixture fluid therein is extracted to a predetermined low level.
