  • Publication number: 20120172222
Abstract: The invention relates to the field of agriculture and, in particular, to products for improving agricultural crop yields. More specifically, the present invention relates to a strengthening composition that regulates transpiration and protects leaves and fruits, said composition containing zeolite as a base, preferably zeolite 4A, and other additives which boost the activity thereof and facilitate the application of same in an aqueous suspension or dry. In addition, the invention relates to the different uses of said composition.

  • Publication number: 20110294659
Abstract: A first aspect of the invention consists of a photocatalytic mixture designed to obtain degradation of nitrogen oxides through synergic combination of the two compounds: TiO2, in any of its crystalline phases or in amorphous state, and one or various feldspars such as carnegeit or nepheline. A second aspect of the invention consists of obtaining said combination giving rise to products with the capacity to degrade nitrogen oxides.

  • Patent number: 7666315
Abstract: The invention relates to a method, devices and reagents which are used for Fenton reaction-based wastewater treatment. According to the invention, the oxidation reaction of the organic material with the oxygenated water is performed in the main oxidation reactor (12) in the presence of metallic catalysts. The Fenton reaction takes place in the reactor at absolute pressure of between 1 Kg/cm2 and 1.5 Kg/cm2 and at a temperature of between 110° C. and 120° C. Once treated and cooled, the effluent is conveyed to zone D to a neutralising tank (6) in which the pH is increased to a value greater than seven, thereby causing precipitation of the hydroxides. In addition, safety checks are carried out automatically.

  • Patent number: 5401487
Abstract: The invention purpose is a process to obtain gel to elaborate Zeolite 4A, to be used in detergents due to its capacity for calcium absortion; the process lies on the obtention of an alkaline aluminum solution starting from bauxite provided by tank 3 which is attacked in digestor 1 with sodium hydroxide provided by tank 4, with a concentration of 11% minimum, with a filtration of the reacting mass and a purification 13 before the gel formation step in whose reactor 14 is also introduced an alkaline solution of SiO2 to obtain by agitation and temperature a gel which is treated in a crystallizer 15, cooling and concentrating the crystalline mass in 16, filtered in 17, and passed to a dryer 20 from where the product Zeolite 4A passes to storage 21. Bauxite residues are attacked with boiling sulphuric acid in reactor 9, filtering the resulting mass in 11 to recycle the silica and to recover the metal sulphates in solution for using them in water treatments.

  • Patent number: 4566998
Abstract: A working solution for producing hydrogen peroxide (made up of an anthraquinone working compound dissolved in one or more solvents) is regenerated with an alkaline, activated alumina, containing about 3.7 wt. % Na.sub.2 O at temperatures of about 145.degree. C., wherein both the oxidized and hydrogenated work solution are mixed and treated with the said alumina simultaneously on a continuous basis, so that regeneration proceeds continually and degradation products are maintained within controllable limits.

  • Patent number: 4036583
Abstract: A rotary furnace includes a tubular body rotating slowly with a slight rake, having an opening for charging the materials at its higher end, a burner at its lower end and several rectangular or squared holes for discharging the product in the lower end of its side wall. In the discharging holes are exteriorly fitted several interchangeable refractory bushings havig different passage sections to regulate the product discharging rate according to the viscosity thereof. Preferably, the bushings are made up of two halves and means are provided on the outside of the furnace wall for retaining and positioning the bushings.
