    Abstract: The invention relates to a propulsion system concept that is a propulsion system that is integrated in the hull of an aerial vehicle (1), which propulsion concept comprises at least one differential velocity fan (4), which is arranged on a shaft driven by one or more power units (2). The propulsion concept is intended to provide short takeoff and landing distances, high flight speed (high subsonic to transsonic) and to be able to provide low IR signature, low radar signature, a small cross section and low air resistance. The propulsion concept is called HPVO (High Performance Optimized Versatile propulsion). The invention is useful both for air vehicles of the type for conventional takeoff and landing, “CTOL” (Conventional Take Off and Landing), “Chair” and for vertical takeoff and landing, “V (t) OL” (Vertical (Take) Off and Landing’) and the flying wing (blended-body). The concept is applicable to both large and small aircraft, manned as well as unmanned aerial vehicles.

    Abstract: A method of preparing salt of dinitramidic acid, comprising nitration of an initial compound with a nitrating acid mixture to form dinitramidic acid in a reaction mixture. A positive ion is added to the reaction mixture and forms with the dinitramide ion an ion pair complex which precipitates in the acidic reaction mixture, and the precipitate is separated from the mixture. The remaining spent acid can be reprocessed for recovery of acid for preparation of a new nitrating acid mixture. The preferred positive ion is the guanylurea ion which gives a precipitate of guanylurea dinitramide. The precipitate can be used as starting material for preparation of other dinitramide salts, such as KDN and ADN. The guanylurea ion can be formed in situ in the process by cyanoguanidine being reacted with the reaction mixture.

    Abstract: An interactive method of presenting information in an image to a user, who carries a head-mounted display device that presents an image of the surroundings. The user's head position and direction are established in relation to the surroundings and a calculating device establishes, based on this, which part of the surroundings is positioned in front of the user's head. Furthermore, the calculating device establishes where in a chain of information the user is positioned and, based on this, presents information in the form of a virtual image which is mixed with the real image. A central part of the image is then defined and fields and/or objects outside this area are shown in a non-disturbing way until the user's gaze has left the central part. The user informs the calculating device that he/she has received the information and, respectively, performed the current operations by looking at the fields/objects.

    Abstract: An airburst hand grenade constructed so as to jump 1–2 m above the ground before detonating. The hand grenade includes a detonator, a warhead, and support legs for raising the hand grenade from a horizontal position to an upright position once it has landed after being thrown. The detonator includes a delay unit, an upper charge which releases the support legs, a jump charge which propels the warhead into the air, and an explosive cartridge which initiates a main charge. Because the grenade detonates above ground, the fragments are spread essentially horizontally and at an angle to the ground and consequently attack the target from above, which results in a much larger target surface and the capability of spreading fragments behind a shelter.

The preparation data is transferred to a rocket missile and a charger takes the rocket missile from a magazine and charges a launcher. A hatch in the ship's deck is opened, and the launcher sights the rocket missile at a target area.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a device for exhausting hot gases with a reduced signature, for instance exhaust gases from an exhaust (7, 8) of a tank. The device is of the type comprising a means for mixing (9, 33) of the hot gases with fresh air from the exterior of the tank. To prevent the exhaust from, for instance, reflecting radar radiation and emit IR radiation, the device is provided with a protecting means (10, 34) which is positioned outside at least parts of said means. The device may comprise a space (12, 32) which accommodates preferably the entire means for mixing. The space is defined on the one hand by a shell (11, 31) towards the other spaces of the tank and, on the other hand, by the protecting means towards the exterior. The protecting means has openings (23, 25) for passing preferably a gas mixture from the means to the exterior and fresh air from the exterior to said means.
