Abstract: A displaying chart image in a bitmap format is generated from ledger sheet data, while identifying layout information capable of identifying a plurality of line drawings on the chart image respectively is generated for a mouse decision. Then, identifying information corresponding to a dot designated through a mouse cursor over the displaying chart image is acquired from the identifying layout information and a dot string indicated by the identifying information is specified as the line drawing. Consequently, it is possible to increase a display speed more greatly as compared with the case in which the line drawings are subjected to vector rendering and are thus displayed respectively, and to identify the line drawings in the chart image formed into a bitmap based on the identifying layout information, respectively.
Abstract: A portion within an image in which a plurality of objects (21 and 22) overlap is partitioned into a plurality of small regions (31a and 32a), each of the units of identification information for the plurality of objects (21 and 22) is assigned to a dot corresponding to the plurality of small regions (31a and 32a), and thereby, identification-use layout information is generated, whereby even if a plurality of objects overlap upon a layout of a display image, upon the layout of the identification-use layout information that has been generated for identifying the plurality of objects, the identification information corresponding to each object does not overlap. As a result, it is possible to identify each object by the identification information acquired from the position of the cursor.
Abstract: When an icon associated with a folder one level lower is displayed within a window, files and folders included in the folder one level lower can be shown to a user in an easy-to-understand manner at a glance by previewing icons displayed in relation to files and folders two levels lower on the icon associated with the folder one level lower according to layout information belonging to the folder one level lower, and the files and folders two levels lower included in the folder one level lower can be previously confirmed by the preview even if the user actually performs no operation for specifying the folder one level lower.
