Abstract: A machine for renewing a railroad track on a ballast bed comprises a machine frame extending in a longitudinal direction, undercarriages for supporting the machine frame on the railroad track, a first tie transport device for receiving old ties and a second tie transport device for laying new ties, old tie transport devices being mounted on the machine frame and being spaced from each other in the longitudinal direction, and a crawler vehicle and ballast bed planing apparatus being arranged on the machine frame between the tie transport devices, the ballast bed planing apparatus being rotatable by 180° about a vertical axis.
