Abstract: A system and method may comprise providing to a device user in response to one of a user request for troubleshooting assistance and a mobile telecommunications user device monitoring software conclusion that a problem exists, a diagnostic application specific to the mobile telecommunication user device of the device user; receiving from the device user an indication of a problem with the mobile telecommunication user device experienced by the device user; selecting an application update; providing to the device user the application update updating an application running on the mobile telecommunication user device; and determining whether the problem has been solved. If determining indicates that the problem has not been solved the method may further include deleting the application and further determining whether the problem has been solved, and if so forwarding problem solution data to a knowledge database.

Abstract: A system and method for providing assistance to a customer of a computing device. In one aspect, an incoming call is received from a device of a customer; a check for identification of the customer is done; an event history of the device is obtained; and a solution is provided to the customer using the event history. In another aspect, a method includes: receiving a code from a mobile computing device; and in response to receiving the code, calculating at least one set of data for use in guiding a request of a customer for service to a resource that can provide a suggested remedy. In another aspect, a method includes: identifying a user associated with a mobile computing device; determining an event history of the mobile computing device; and providing guidance to resolve an issue based on the event history.

Abstract: A system and method for custom programming of mobile computing devices. The system and method include receiving, by a server computer and before activation of a mobile computing device by a user, a code from the mobile computing device over a wireless data connection; and in response to the receiving of the code, transmitting, by the server computer to the mobile computing device over the wireless data connection, a software module, the software module for execution on the mobile computing device and for installing software on the mobile computing device in response to the execution.

Abstract: A system and method for discovering fault conditions such as conflicts between applications and an operating system, driver, hardware, or a combination thereof, installed in mobile computing devices uses a mobile device running a diagnostic application. A list of applications that were launched or installed during a time period prior to an operational disruption is retrieved. A data table of combinations of incompatible programs and drivers is used to analyze the list of the applications that were launched or installed to create a list of potential fault-causing interactions due to software incompatibilities of software installed in the mobile computing device. A knowledge database is updated with data identifying at least one of the potential fault-causing interactions.

One embodiment comprises an enclosure formed of electromagnetically shielding material that prevents an electromagnetic field from entering an interior of the enclosure or emitting from the interior of the enclosure, the enclosure sized to house a mobile electronic device; a receiver within an interior of the enclosure to receive data transferred wirelessly from a mobile electronic device placed within the enclosure; and a hardware interface having a first end external to the enclosure and a second end within the interior of the enclosure and coupled to the antenna, the hardware interface to transfer data wirelessly received by the receiver to a separate device exterior to the enclosure.

Abstract: One embodiment as described herein provides enhanced data transmission and charger cable assembly for computing devices in interaction with multiple potential power sources. In one embodiment, a cable assembly is provided having a universal adaptor at a first end of the assembly to connect with any one of a plurality of computing device connectors, each computing device connector corresponding to a separate computing device, and a second adapter at a second end of the assembly, the second adapter having a power regulation and data transmission, the cable to provide power and data to the computing devices via the universal adaptor.
