  • Publication number: 20140190204
Abstract: A supplementary air conditioning system includes an indoor heat exchanger and an outdoor heat exchanger. The indoor heat exchanger is fanless and includes indoor tubes installed so as to be inclined to a ceiling of a room. The indoor tubes make diagonal contact with a high-temperature air zone in an upper part of the room and refrigerant inside the indoor tubes is heated by the air zone so as to boil and vaporize and air in the air zone flows down through the indoor heat exchanger. The external heat exchanger includes outdoor tubes installed outside at a higher position than the indoor tubes and are connected to the indoor tubes via connecting pipes with no compressor therebetween. The outdoor tubes condense and liquefy the refrigerant boiled and vaporized in the indoor tubes and return the refrigerant to the indoor tubes.

  • Publication number: 20110259573
Abstract: A cooling system comprises a first heat exchanger installed inside a room; a second heat exchanger installed outside the room; and a piping system that enables a refrigerant to naturally circulate between the first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger. The piping system includes the first supply pipe and the second supply pipe. The first supply pipe supplies liquid refrigerant from the second heat exchanger to the first heat exchanger and the liquid refrigerant is heated by heat exchanging in a third heat exchanger with vaporized refrigerant supplied from the first heat exchanger to the second heat exchanger. The second supply pipe supplies liquid refrigerant from the second heat exchanger to the first heat exchanger bypassing the third heat exchanger.

  • Patent number: 7996990
Abstract: There is provided a method of manufacturing a heat exchanger, including a first step of mounting an end part of flat tube to a header, assembling the flat tube and fins, and sealing a part where the header and the end part is attached, and a second step of increasing an internal pressure of the flat tube to expand other part of flat tubes aside from the end parts with respect to the end part of the tube in order to make the fins and the other part of the flat tube in contact each other. According to this method of manufacturing, in the second step, the other part of the flat tube that passes through the fins is expanded, so that it is possible to mechanically join the flat tube and the fins, and a plate fin-type heat exchanger with high strength and heat exchange efficiency can be easily provided.

  • Publication number: 20100314090
Abstract: A heat exchanger (100a) includes a plurality of tubes (4), an entrance header (1) for distributing a refrigerant to the tubes (4), and an exit header (2) for collecting the refrigerant from the tubes (4). The entrance header (1) includes a circulating conduit (10) capable of circulating at least part of the refrigerant that has flowed into the entrance header (1), and the plurality of tubes (4) are fluidly connected to the outward channel (10a) of the circulating conduit (10). The entrance header (1) also includes an ejector 11 that uses the refrigerant flowing into the entrance header to draw and mix at least part of the refrigerant that has flowed into the entrance header and spray out the mixed refrigerant. The entrance header (1) can supply refrigerant more uniformly to the tubes (4) connected to the circulating conduit (10).

  • Patent number: 7503382
Abstract: There is provided a heat exchanger including: a heat exchange section in which a plurality of flat tubes are arranged substantially in parallel in a minor axis direction at first intervals and in which fins are disposed between the flat tubes; and a header to which at least some flat tubes out of the plurality of flat tubes are connected, in a state where the at least some flat tubes are bent in the minor axis direction outside the heat exchange section and end parts of the at least some flat tubes are arranged substantially in parallel at second intervals that are narrower than in the heat exchange section, so that the minor axis direction and a central axis direction of the header are the same direction. With this heat exchanger, it is possible to distribute fluid to the individual flat tubes with more equal conditions so that the heat exchange efficiency can be increased.

  • Patent number: 7137438
Abstract: A storage apparatus is provided that comprises a display case part with an inside thereof being dividable into a plurality of zones, a supply duct that is connected to supply openings for supplying conditioning air for controlling environmental conditions to the plurality of zones respectively, and an exhaust duct that is connected to exhaust openings for taking in air from the plurality of zones. In this storage apparatus, conditioning air such as cold air or hot air is circulated in the respective zones, and the environmental conditions can be adjusted efficiently in zone basis. Therefore, in a storage apparatus equipped with an open-type display case part, it is possible to dispense with an air curtain covering the entire open side, so that a storage apparatus with a high storage capacity is provided.

  • Patent number: 6942624
Abstract: The input/output system of the present invention includes a sheet-like input/output unit that includes wiring and a connection box that is attached to an edge of the sheet-like input/output unit. The connection box includes a housing that is attached so as to sandwich the sheet-like input/output unit and internally encloses a circuit board that is connected to the wiring. The housing includes a slit through which the sheet-like input/output unit passes and whose upper and lower edges are curved and means for fixing the sheet-like input/output unit that is disposed inside to the slit. Since the means for fixing the sheet-like input/output unit is disposed inside to the slit, the edges of the slit are narrow but formed with large radii of curvature, so that the sheet-like input/output unit is not folded over at the slit part. The slit can also be sealed by attaching packing to the edge of the slit.
