Abstract: A gluing device of an end edge of a log including an introduction assembly into the gluing device of a log, a handling assembly for a log associated to detection device of the end edge and including a pair of rolls for advancement and holding in rotation of the log, a glue dispensing assembly and a transfer assembly of the log including a transfer plane positioned downstream of the lower handling roller. The glue dispensing assembly is placed in series between the lower handling roll and the transfer plane and includes a transverse tank for the glue, housing cyclically movable glue transfer members. The transverse tank is provided with an upper cover provided with a plurality of openings provided in succession side by side at a set distance along a transverse row. The movable glue transfer members include a plurality of tips provided in succession along a transverse row, alternatively projecting through the relevant openings and retracted within the transverse tank because of the cyclical movement.

Abstract: The present invention concerns a method for joining the ply of a reel of paper in depletion with the initial flap of a new reel, as well as an apparatus adapted for carrying out such a method. Thanks to the method according to the present invention, and to the apparatus suitable for carrying it out, the joining of the reels takes place without using gluing means, like for example the double-sided tape used in known methods, avoiding the relative drawbacks, the adhesion between the plies of the reels to be joined taking place by electrostatic attraction.

Abstract: A method for producing a paper roll by conveying a first smooth ply between an upper embossing roll with first projections defining a decorative motif, and a glue distribution or cliché roll; maintaining the cliché roll side by side to the upper embossing roll, the first ply interposed between the upper embossing roll and the cliché roll and subjected to incisions and to glue deposits at the first projections on one side of the first ply facing towards the upper embossing roll and on the opposite side of the first ply facing towards the cliché roll; conveying a second ply between the upper embossing roll and a coupling or marriage roll; maintaining the marriage roll side by side to the upper embossing roll by exerting a coupling pressure to perform the final coupling between the first ply and the second ply at the glue deposits forming a multilayer paper.

Abstract: A device for rewinding and forming a paper roll in a rewinding machine comprising three rollers with parallel axes and perpendicular to the paper feeding direction, wherein two lower and upper winding rollers supported on a frame cooperate with a third swivel roller in pressure on a roll being formed, the paper being wound provided with a series of transverse piercing and weakening lines spaced apart according to regular intervals along their longitudinal development passing on the upper winding roller and finished roll exiting from an output opening defined between the lower roller and the third roller, the cores for the rolls fed one after the other by a conveyor, wherein mechanical tearing means are placed in the upper roller along its development facing towards the side of the paper facing towards the upper roller to positively act directly at a piercing line and cause the tearing of the paper.

Abstract: The present invention concerns a device (1) for applying adhesive to cores for a log comprising moving means (3) configured to cause at least one core (5) to advance along a feed direction (A) and dispensing means (7) configured for dispensing an amount of adhesive (9) on said core (5). According to the invention such dispensing means (7) are moveable along an application direction (B) substantially orthogonal to the feed direction (A) and are configured to selectively dispense said amount of adhesive (9) along portions (11) of the core (5) during movement along said application direction (B).

Abstract: A buffer (1) for paper cores comprises: a structure (2); a plurality of planes (5), arranged one over the other for accumulating cores; a mechanism (6) for feeding the cores associated with the planes (5) to provide the cores being fed; a first device (11) for transferring cores by the mechanism (6) to one of the planes (5), the first device (11) being interposed between the mechanism (6) and the planes (5) and being movable from one plane (5) to another in order to transfer the cores to the latter; a mechanism (16) associated with the planes (5) in order to discharge the accumulated cores; a second transferring device (21), interposed between the planes (5) and the mechanism (16), for transferring cores from the planes (5) to the mechanism (16), the second device (21) being movable from one plane (5) to another in order to empty the planes (5).
