Abstract: A safety switch for a water dispenser includes a sealing ring movably received in the channel to alternatively block communication between the inlet and the outlet, a guiding rod securely received in the sealing ring and having a first spring compressibly mounted around an outer periphery of the guiding rod, a handle adapted to be pivotal relative to the water dispensing tube and having a first distal end securely connected to a second distal end of the guiding rod, a support engaged with an outer periphery defining the channel and a sliding block movably sandwiched between the support and the handle so that movement of the sliding block relative to the support allows the pivotal movement of the handle, which initiates an upward movement of the guiding rod as well as the sealing ring such that the communication between the inlet and the outlet is resumed.
Abstract: A faucet for a waterbowl includes a control knob, a lifting seat, a valve cover, a valve body and a spindle assembly which controls the water flow on-off. The spindle assembly is provided within the valve body, with a spindle of the spindle assembly extending through the upper end of the valve body and hinged to the lifting base. The valve cover is mounted firmly the top of the valve body. Between the control knob and the lifting seat is provided a rotatable locator connected to the lifting seat and rotatable round the lifting seat. The control knob is attached to the upper part of the rotatable locator by a hollow slidable connecting housing. A sliding rod provided in the slidable connecting housing is inserted into a through hole on the rotatable locator, with a return spring provided on the sliding rod. The faucet may avoid mishandling and scalding.
Abstract: A faucet for a water dispenser has a seat secured on a front housing. The seat has at least one nozzle formed therein. At least one button is provided above the seat to control the nozzle's on/off modes when a user presses the button inwards. The button has a slot longitudinally defined therein and a locking key is movably received in the slot. The locking key has a finger extending downwards and blocked by the front housing. The button cannot be pressed when the locking key in a locked position, and can be pressed when the locking key is moved to an unlocked position to retract the finger.
