Abstract: An installation element for use in cooling technology, in water treatment, or in mass transfer and a method for producing such an element. The installation element is sell supporting and is composed of a plurality of plies which are at least partially spatially structured and which are connected to each other. Adjacent plies form flow paths for a liquid and/or a gaseous medium between the adjacent plies. The installation element has at least some of the plies being composed of an at least three-layer coextruded plastic film, a center layer of the three-layer plastic film being a mechanically supporting layer, and the two outer layers are composed of a plastic having application-specific properties or are layers each having at least one additive which is added to the plastic and which gives application specific properties to the outer layers.
Abstract: A filling body, comprising a plurality of plastic foils, which are undulated, wherein a plastic foil has a plurality of connecting elements for connecting a plastic foil to other plastic foils via a plurality of form-fitting connections. The filling body is configured such that two plastic foils are connected to a plastic foil pair, and plastic foil pairs are connected to other plastic foil pairs. The connecting elements are positioned on the plastic foils such that upon joining two plastic foils to a plastic foil pair, the still unconnected connecting elements can be joined into connecting element pairs on opposite sides of the two plastic foils. The connecting element pairs are located exclusively in the vicinity of the edges of the two plastic foil pairs.
Abstract: An installation element of an installed packing for material and/or heat exchange between gases and liquids, having pegs and recesses for engaging with at least one further installation element. In order to make the engagement easier the recesses each are associated with ring gap segments.
Abstract: A profiled strip for the installation in honeycomb-like separator packages and a honeycomb-like separator package formed by a plurality of profiled strips are described. The profiled strip has two long base sides and two connection sides. It is distinguished by the fact that a single groove connection portion is respectively arranged at the free ends of the connection sides and a single tongue connection portion is respectively arranged at the ends of the base sides that abut the connection sides, or vice versa. By this, corresponding separator packages can be assembled very simple.
Abstract: A contact body for an evaporation humidifier or material exchanger, is formed of corrugated material layers. The novel contact body has material layers which are a thermoplastic plastic and are interconnected by welding and/or bonding and or a positive fit. The corrugation axes at two longitudinal edges of each material layer form a corrugation axis section that runs approximately in an orthogonal direction in relation to the respective longitudinal edge and the axes between the corrugation axis sections have oblique regions that run in at least two different directions with at least one change of direction in between, in such a way that in each material layer the corrugation axes change direction at least three times. The corrugation axes in a first oblique area lie at an angle ?1 to the neighboring longitudinal edge and in a second oblique area lie at an angle ?2 to the other longitudinal edge. The angles ?1 and ?2 are between 30° and 60°. The maximum height of the corrugated material layers is 12 mm.
