  • Patent number: 5269619
Abstract: The connection has a connection piece (1) which has two displaceable wedges (4, 13) in a bearing housing (8) . These wedges (4, 13) can be displaced in the bearing housing (8) independently of one another by a guide bearing (15, 16). In the working position, the wedge (4) extends into a dovetailed longitudinal groove (20) of a sectional bar (2). The front side (5) of the wedge (4) is profiled and engages a correspondingly profiled wall (22) of the sectional bar (2) in a positive-locking manner. The wedge (4) spreads two clamping tongues of the bearing housing (8) against the flanks of the longitudinal groove (20). By pivoting the guide bearing (15), the wedge (4) can be retracted, and the connection can be separated. A second wedge (13) is inserted axially into the interior space of a second profiled piece (3). This wedge (13) spreads two brackets (11) of the bearing housing (8 ). Both sectional bars (2, 3) have the same design and may be cut off to any desired length.

  • Patent number: 5265282
Abstract: The actuating device has a vertically displaceable trigger (9) which is mounted on a hood-shaped housing part (6a) of the drain valve (3). A lever (2), whose horizontal axis of rotation (5) is mounted on a float housing (6b), is pivoted with the trigger (9) in one or the other direction of rotation. To induce flushing, the trigger (9) is moved in the downward direction with a release knob (1) against the restoring force of a spring (24). The trigger (9) now engages a pivotable arm (9b), and the lever (2) is pivoted such that a valve tube (4) connected to the lever (2) is raised, and the valve opening (11i) is thus opened. If the release knob (1) is moved once again in the downward direction after a partial flushing, the trigger (9) will engage another pivot arm (2a), and the lever (2) will again be pivoted into the starting position, in which the outlet opening (11i) is closed.

  • Patent number: 5257422
Abstract: The bowl (18) of a urinal is detachably fastened with threaded bolts (20) to a building wall (19). After detaching the bowl (18), it can be swung away from the building wall (19) by a limited amount by a pivoting device (26, 27, 28) for maintenance of control devices (23) and fittings (21). The drain socket (24) is connected to the drain elbow (17) by a flexible line (12). In the use position of the urinal, a partially flexible siphon trap (12) is wound such that it forms a drain siphon. When the bowl (18) is swung away from the building wall (19), the flexible line (12) is stretched, and it is not necessary to detach the connection between the socket (24) and the drain elbow (17). The present invention permits simple maintenance of devices and fittings arranged covered behind the bowl (18).
