Abstract: A computer-implemented method, system and computer program product for end-user service provider selection in a network supporting one or more service providers connected to the network, including prompting an end-user for end-user information including a geographic location of the user; determining based on the end-user information whether the network provides service in the geographic location; displaying to the end-user a list of one or more service providers available to the end-user and supported by the network; providing means for contacting the one or more service providers available to the end-user; receiving service information from a service provider selected by the end-user from the list of the one or more service providers based on the means for contacting the one or more service providers; and providing service via the selected service provider on the network to the end-user based on the received service information.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product for providing wholesale provisioning services. End-users are routed to a particular service provider for providing a particular service through an access network based on a service requested by the end-user. Information is maintained in a database as to which service provider has been selected by an end-user for providing a particular service. If the end-user's preferred service provider is unavailable to provide the requested service, an alternate service provider, as specified by the end-user and maintained in the database, may provide the requested service.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product for an end-user of an open access high-speed network for providing broadband data transport services to select a new service provider as a replacement for a current service provider that is no longer a customer of an operator of a high-speed network providing connectivity between end-users and a plurality of service providers providing services on a common network such as the Internet. A digital repository is populated with information regarding the end-users and their service providers. End-users subscribing to a discontinued service provider are redirected to a service provider selection user interface upon accessing the open access high-speed network.

Abstract: An integrated operations support system, method, and computer program product for a high-speed network dedicated to broadband data transport services. A single web portal is provided through which internal personnel manage the physical aspects of the high-speed network, and through which customers (e.g., ISPs) manage the usage and business aspects of the high-speed network. Information related to the operation of the network as well as end-user usage information is maintained in a common operations support system database. Information in the database is manipulated through a variety of applications, each of which is available through the single web portal.

Abstract: A method for expanding customer bases for data services providers. The method includes connecting end-users of a plurality of services providers to a high-speed network dedicated to broadband data transport services. The end-users are connected to the respective headends of their services providers through a common data center of the high-speed network. The high-speed network is owned by a third party, that third party not being any of the services providers having end-users connected to the high-speed network.

Abstract: A trouble ticketing system, method, and computer program product for supporting multiple service providers, each of the service providers having end-users connected to a common high-speed network for broadband data transport services. A digital repository is populated with information regarding the service providers, the end-users and trouble ticket status information. A common interface is provided through which all of the service providers may concurrently generate trouble tickets and access ticket status information in the database. Trouble ticket status information is updated by the operator of the high-speed network to reflect a current status.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product for self-authenticating an end-user of one of multiple service providers, each of the service providers having end-users connected to a common network. A digital repository is populated with information regarding the service providers, the end-users and service description information for the end-users. New devices are detected as they are connected to the high-speed network, and are allocated a limited amount of bandwidth. The end-user is given access to an authentication application. Based on the information entered by the end-user, the database is queried to determine a level of service purchased by the end-user from their service provider. The end-user is then allocated the appropriate level of service.
