  • Patent number: 6102468
Abstract: A convertible camping trailer which may be used as a camping trailer and converted to a normal utility trailer when camping components are removed. The trailer includes a rolling chassis and a plurality of upwardly extending walls. A pair of doors are pivotally attached adjacent to upper edges of side walls of the trailer, and the doors may be pivoted between a closed position covering the trailer and an outwardly extending, substantially horizontal open position. A plurality of support arm assemblies support the doors when in the open position. Panels may be positioned adjacent to the doors and covering a portion of the compartment so that the open doors and panels form bed surfaces thereon. A tent may be positioned in a raised position covering the open doors and compartment. The trailer has a tailgate on which a step may be pivotally disposed to provide access to the trailer when the tailgate is closed. Leveling devices may be used to level the trailer when it is located at a camping site.

  • Patent number: 5542223
Abstract: An air duct boot useful for connecting a heating and air conditioning duct to an air register grate to permit air to be circulated into a space to be heated or cooled. The air duct boot includes a housing of right parallelepiped configuration constructed of a synthetic resin and having an internal support for preventing excessive deflection of opposed walls of the housing when concrete is poured therearound. Reinforcing ribs are molded into the opposed walls. The housing also includes an integrally molded top or upper portion which can be quickly and easily removed after the boot is installed in a concrete pad or other foundation structure. A protuberant, generally cylindrical neck portion extends from one side of the housing near its lower end for connection to the duct. The entire air duct boot is molded as an integral unit.

  • Patent number: 5397155
Abstract: An air duct fitting or pipe coupling used for connecting air conditioning or heating ducts. The fitting may be used as an integral unit to connect the ducts at a predetermined angular relationship from one another. The fitting may be severed into two sections, each section of which may be used to connect ducts at a different angular relationship from the integral unit. The fitting may be characterized as an elbow fitting. In the preferred embodiment, the fitting is a thin wall molded unit made of a non-metallic material. The first and second sections may be severed along a plane defined by a V-shaped groove molded in the fitting.

  • Patent number: 5240288
Abstract: A double air duct boot which includes a pair of identical opposed severable parts, joined through a central section. The two parts are geometrically symmetrical about the central section which joins the two parts. The central section includes a pair of identical halves joined at a central plane. The central section includes a pair of opposed segments of a cylinder constituting spaced, arcuate opposed side walls and a pair of opposed transverse walls joining the opposed arcuate side walls and lying in parallel planes. The central section is completed by a pair of elongated parallel end walls which extend perpendicular to the transverse walls to complete the closure of the central section. Each of the opposed severable parts includes a tapered riser section joined to the central section through an intermediate, optionally usable, arcuate duct mating section.
