Abstract: A vacuum cleaning machine for cleaning and removing industrial wastes, including hazardous waste products, mounted to the chassis of a truck having a collection tank thereon, including a flexible boom coupled to the collection tank and projecting forwardly, with a driver-actuable collection nozzle positioned in front of the truck. An air circulation system, including a blower, is used to draw material through the suction tubes into the collection tank, and a vortex separator removes particulate matter and wet residue from the suction air stream. The air circulation system includes a filter bag housing for removing further particulate matter from the suction air stream, and this is followed by a safety filter for removing the finest particulate matter from the suction air stream.
Abstract: Apparatus for attachment to the side wall of a hopper or bin, having connections to an extenal source of pressurized air, and having an annular orifice internal to the hopper or bin, wherein the annular orifice is covered by a resilient ring, thereby pemitting the flow of pressurized air outwardly through the annular orifice while protecting the annular orifice from contamination and plugging by materials stored in the bin or hopper.
Abstract: Apparatus for housing a centrifugal fan and providing an enclosure for coupling into a ducting network, wherein the fan and driving motor is mounted on a honeycomb-style base which is slidable into and out of the enclosure, and which has an angled edge lip for engaging against a mating edge lip on the enclosure for providing a hinge means for pivotally supporting the fan and motor assembly.
