  • Patent number: 4578840
Abstract: A vacuum cleaning machine for cleaning and removing industrial wastes, including hazardous waste products, mounted to the chassis of a truck having a collection tank thereon, including a flexible boom coupled to the collection tank and projecting forwardly, with a driver-actuable collection nozzle positioned in front of the truck. An air circulation system, including a blower, is used to draw material through the suction tubes into the collection tank, and a vortex separator removes particulate matter and wet residue from the suction air stream. The air circulation system includes a filter bag housing for removing further particulate matter from the suction air stream, and this is followed by a safety filter for removing the finest particulate matter from the suction air stream.
