Abstract: A removable bezel grinding attachment for a dop stick holder features a bezel table for support of a cabochon, the table replacing the dop stick of the holder, and means for adjusting the inclination of the table.
Abstract: A method of polishing material for lapidary and like purposes, the material and abrasive being tumbled in a vibrated container which alternately compacts the material against a wall of the container and then separates it in order to reduce the time required for polishing. Apparatus for carrying out the method vibrates the container of the material and abrasive so that a portion of its orbit is about a theoretical center which is above and to one side of the center of gravity of its mass.

Abstract: A dop stick with an oval cabachon adhesively mounted thereon for application to a grinding stone has two axes of rotation, one axis to determine the longitudinal curvature of the face of the cabachon, the other to determine the transverse curvature, and may be moved at random about the two axes of rotation simultaneously without departing from accurate positioning of the cabachon for correctly grinding the cabachon face.
