Abstract: A storage/display box for elongated objects has a generally parallepipedal and hollow base having a pair of parallel and spaced side walls and a normally horizontal floor extending between the pair of side walls, a cover pivotal on the base between a closed position closely engaged over the base and closing same and an open position standing upward therefrom, and a holder fittable in the box, adapted to hold at least one of the objects, and having a pair of side walls juxtaposed with the respective side walls of the base. A pivot pin is seated in one of the pairs of side walls for pivoting of the holder between a down end position wholly received in the base and an up end position projecting upward therefrom and through an intermediate position between the down and up positions. A guide formed in the other pair of side walls extends transversely of the floor and receives the pin for movement of the pin relative to the one pair of side walls limitedly transversely relative to the floor.

Abstract: The invention relates to a tool holder (1) for elongate tools (8) with a base part (2) and a cover (3). The base part (2) has a base plate (4), a tool-receiving chamber (6), enclosed by side walls (5), and mutually parallel receiving shafts (6A) which are separated from one another in said tool-receiving chamber by crosspieces (7) and in which the tools (8) are inserted. The receiving shafts (6A) are designed in each case with a bearing surface (6B) on the base plate (4) and with a depression (9), formed in the base plate (4), in the region of one of the side walls (5). The cover (3) may be connected to the base part (2) such that it can be displaced in the longitudinal direction of the receiving shafts (6A). The cover (3) has a selector device (10) which is intended for selecting one of the tools (8) positioned in the receiving shafts (6A) and has at least one elastic actuating element (11, 11'), which can be pressed onto at least one of the tools (8).

At least one tool-receiving box for elongate tools, in particular drill bits, is arranged in the tool-receiving chamber. The tool-receiving box is arranged for swing action in the tool-receiving chamber such that tools which are located in the tool-receiving box can be pivoted, when the cover is open, from an at least approximately horizontal position into an at least approximately vertical position. At least one curved handle is fastened in an articulated manner on the tool-receiving box for the purpose of executing the swing action of the latter, and a securing device for fixing the tool-receiving box in an at least approximately vertical position is provided on a side wall of the base part.

Abstract: A cassette for compass saw blades (5) is provided with a base part (1) and a lid part (2) movable in relation to the base part (2). Furthermore housing devices for the compass saw blades (5) are provided. The housing devices for the compass saw blades (5) are constructed as at least two sawtooth shaped support members (3), which are mounted parallel to one another on the base part (1) and transversally to the direction of displacement of the lid part (2) displaceable in relation to the base part (1). The support members (3) in each case contain several supporting faces (6) for the compass saw blades (5), which are inclined towards the plane of the base part (1) and are separated from one another.

Abstract: A hanger for articles having a rectangular recess, for example, sockets for a socket wrench, has a connecting element which entrains a locking element into the recess in the goods and ruptures a web connecting opposite bars of the locking element. When the hanger is withdrawn from the recess, the bars fall out and limit reuse of the hanger.

Abstract: A box for the storage and display of elongated objects has a base part and a cover part that is recessed in the base part. More particularly the base part has a floor having a pair of parallel side edges and an end edge bridging the side edges, respective side walls projecting upward from the side edges and in turn having upper edges, and an outer end wall bridging the side walls and projecting upward from the end edge. The cover part has a face plate, is hinged on the base part, and is pivotal thereon between an open position projecting upward from the base part and a closed position with the face plate lying wholly within the base part below the upper edges of the side walls. In addition the cover part is formed with a laterally projecting grip tab coplanar with the face plate. A frangible latch element connected between the cover and base parts in the closed position of the cover part retains same therein so that the cover part can only be moved into the open position after breaking of the latch element.

The grooves all are open longitudinally at one end and closed longitudinally at the opposite end. Thus the objects can be held in the grooves. A generally flat cover part engaged over the base part covers the grooves. The cover part has one transversely extending edge lip overreaching the open ends of the grooves and formed with a longitudinally throughgoing aperture of generally the same transverse width as the grooves and this cover part is slidable transversely along the base part for alignment of the aperture with the open end of each of the grooves. One of the parts is formed with a transversely extending notch formation open toward the other part and the other part is formed with a transversely extending rib formation generally complementary to and fitting into the notch formation.

A respective body tab projects from each of the side walls generally at the axis and is formed with an inner part of part-cylindrical shape, centered on the axis and having an inner end connected to the respective side wall and an outer end and an outer part projecting generally perpendicular to and crossing the axis. The inner part forms between its ends a part-cylindrical seat. A respective insert tab formed on the insert adjacent each side wall at the axis has a part-cylindrical outer edge complementary to and fitting within the inner part of the respective body tab. A pivot axle passes through each body tab and the respective insert tab at the axis.

Abstract: A standing case for tool bits has a stand part to which the cover part is pivotally connected and plurality of receptacles for the drilling bits which can fan out when the cover part is opened. The lower edge of each outer receptacle has a push out strip engaging the next more inwardly disposed receptacle to swing the upper part thereof outwardly. The pivot axis common to all receptacles is located in the longitudinal median plane of the rear most receptacle, close to the bottom thereof.

Abstract: A grip for a container such as a tool box is provided by a strap having longitudinal slots at its end region by passing these end regions through guide strips formed unitary in the wall of the container so that projecting tongues formed unitary therein engage in the slots. This allows mounting without tools or damage to the housing in a simple manner.

Abstract: A storage container for elongated tools, particularly for tools with four-sided shanks such as tap drills and screw extractors, having a cylindrical container body with parallel circularly-arranged receptacles for tools, a rotatable cap closing the receptacles with a tool-removal aperture in the cap, the cap being rotatable so as to place the tool removal aperture in juxtaposition to the desired tool receptacle. The container body bears a tool shank clamping assembly having a movable clamping jaw positioned by a cam defined by a hole of specific shape in a cam disk, such that the clamping assembly is adjusted to have a cross-section corresponding to the shank of the desired tool.

Abstract: The case for storing objects, particularly a plurality of tools such as spiral drills, tap drills and the like, comprises a base piece, a cover piece connected pivotally with it and a receptacle portion for the objects. The base piece and the cover piece are each provided with an opening forming a handle portion adjacent an egde of the case opposite a common pivot joint connecting the base piece and the cover piece. The handle portion includes a handle frame member on the base piece which is provided with a substantially U-shape transverse cross sectioned receiving groove open toward the cover piece and a handle strip in the cover piece covering the receiving groove when the case is closed.
