  • Publication number: 20100297191
Abstract: The invention relates to the use of a cleansing and/or care composition for impregnating a pile of absorbent supports. The care and cleansing composition has a relatively high apparent viscosity while having a rheological behavior of the shear-thinning and thixotropic type and comprises at least one care and/or cleansing compound. Thus, during an impregnation under stress, especially under pressure and with prior stirring, the composition becomes sufficiently fluid to enable it to rapidly and homogeneously diffuse into the supports arranged in a pile.

  • Publication number: 20100136291
Abstract: An embossed sheet is composed of at least a first and a second ply of creped tissue having a basis weight between 12 and 30 g/m2 according to which the first ply has a first embossed pattern composed of a series of first aligned protrusions of frustoconical overall shape, the tops of which are oriented towards the inside of the sheet, and the second ply has a first and a second series of protrusions, the tops of which are oriented towards the inside of the sheet, the second series having a height greater than that of the first series of protrusions. The protrusions of the first ply and the highest protrusions of the second ply are nested inside one another, and the lowest protrusions of the second ply are arranged between the protrusions of the first ply so as to create empty spaces between the two plies and promote a rapid absorption of liquid.

  • Publication number: 20100032511
Abstract: The invention relates to a coreless roll including of a sheet made of dry flexible material, such as an absorbent fibrous material, that is formed by the rolling of a sheet around a winding axis characterized in that it includes a center-feed (center unwinding) first strip forming a projection along the axis in relation to at least one part of the plane of one of the sides of the roll. In particular, this first strip is constituted by a portion of the internal end of the sheet constituting the roll. The first internal turn is thus permitted to unwind, even if the center opening is reduced.

  • Publication number: 20100025518
Abstract: A dispenser, for dispensing a wound dry sheet of paper (F) made of tissue paper, comprising: a cylindrical body; support elements, lying approximately in the same plane P, for resting the dispenser on a horizontal plane; a slot in the cylindrical body for the sheet of paper (F) to exit; a guiding element for guiding the sheet of paper (F) outside the cylinder, associated with said slot, comprising two mutually parallel planes. According to the invention, the two planes are curved, in that the distance E between them is greater than twice the thickness Ep of the sheet of paper (F) and in that the length L of the guiding element, measured along the direction of pay-out of the paper, is equal to or greater than twice a minimum length Lm.

  • Publication number: 20100009125
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for manufacturing an absorbent sheet comprising at least two plies of cellulose wadding, consisting in combining said plies under pressure by passing between two steel cylindrical components, the first being smooth on the outside and the second being equipped with raised components on the outside and the hardness of the first cylindrical component being lower than that of the second cylindrical component. According to the invention, the first cylindrical component has a treated hardened surface layer and a deformable underlayer; the second cylindrical component has a hardened outer surface, and the sheet, when it passes between the two cylindrical components is compressed at a specific pressure between 40 and 250 N/mm2. Another subject of the invention is an assembly of steel cylindrical components intended for the manufacture of multiply absorbent sheets.
