Abstract: It is disclosed a device (1) for altering the storage capacity of a tubular mesh bag of heat sealable material during the manufacture thereof and the bag (15) obtained from its using. The device comprises an expansion core (2) to which the tubular mesh is peripheral, which is essentially oblong and will be inserted vertically inside the tubular mesh, thus determining two from faces (21) and two side faces of said mesh as it passes over the expansion core. The device has a mechanism for inserting, in a variable way as the mesh passes over the expansion core, sections of the peripheral tubular mesh into it, thus accumulating a greater or smaller quantity of mesh in each longitudinal section of mesh corresponding with one bag unit.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a machine (1) for the manufacture of bags, comprising at least one support element (2, 3, 4) suitable for the detachable coupling of a corresponding portable storage (22, 33, 44) of a consumable material (22a, 33a, 44a) from which the bags are made, and mechanical means for making bags from the mentioned consumable material, remote reading means (5) being provided for reading the information stored in a radiofrequency tag (6, 7, 8) included in the mentioned portable storage; and with a control unit (18) which contains means for obtaining information from the radiofrequency tag, which allows identifying the type of consumable material coupled in the mentioned support element, and for automatically generating a signal for controlling the mechanical means, susceptible of being used to stop the operation of the machine, depending on the information obtained.

Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the weighing of successive filled packs, in which the packs are sequentially transferred, without their conveyance being stopped and without them suddenly decelerating, to the holding means of a weighing device which holds them and transports them in suspension to a delivery position; the process comprising the operation of measuring by means of a scale the weight of the assembly formed by the holding means of the weighing device and that of the conveyed pack or packs, the average speed of the conveyance of the packs and/or the length of the conveyed distance being selected such that at least during a predetermined time period a single pack is being held and conveyed in suspension by the mentioned holding means. The mentioned holding means for the packs comprise first and second endless belts between which holding portions of the packs to be weighed are introduced, the suspended packs being conveyed by the movement of the endless belts.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for the formation and the filling of bags, applicable to tubular mesh bags closed at their two ends and provided with a handle formed by a plastic strip attaching said ends, comprising the operations of constricting a mesh section of a portion of mesh previously drawn from a storage and attaching it to a section of the strip of a portion of strip previously drawn from its storage, determining at least one securing area between both sections of the mesh and of the first strip, to make a first closed end of the bag to be formed, still empty, and a second end of the immediately previous bag still in formation, already filled; and of transversely cutting both attached sections of the mesh and of the first strip so that the first closed end is gripped by the first strip during the entire following process of filling and formation of said bag, including operations of drawing new portions of mesh and of strip from the corresponding storages and of filling of the bag before
