Abstract: The device has: a first interlacing jet (19); a feed path of the covering yarn (FT) and a feed path of the elastic yarn (F1; F2) towards the first interlacing jet; supporting elements (37A, 37B) for spools of elastic yarn (R1, R2); winding members (54) to wind the composite yarn (FC) on the cop being formed (BC); an interruption device to interrupt feed of composite yarn to the cop being formed and start winding the composite yarn on a new winding tube.

Abstract: The device comprises in combination: an interlacing jet for reciprocally joining the covering yarn and the elastic yarn; supporting elements for spools of elastic yarn; winding members for winding the composite yarn on a developing cop; a device for interrupting the feeding of composite yarn to the developing cop and starting the winding of the composite yarn on a new winding tube. The supporting elements for the spools of elastic yarn are suitable for arranging at least one first spool of elastic yarn in a working position and at least a second spool of elastic yarn in a standby position and for transferring the second spool from the standby position to the working position. Furthermore, a retaining member is arranged near the interlacing jet to withhold an initial free end of the elastic yarn of the second spool in standby position. Elements are also provided for introducing the elastic yarn of the second spool in the interlacing jet.

Abstract: The machine comprises a texturing zone (12) trough which a covering yarn (22) advances; a feed unit (C) for an elastomer yarn (20); combining means to combine the textured covering yarn (22) with the elastomer yarn (20), said means comprising a first roller (B) to which said textured covering yarn (22) and said elastomer yarn (20) are fed; downstream of said first roller (B) an interlacing device (23) to interlace said textured covering yarn (22) and said elastomer yarn (20). Moreover, a drawing roller (A) for the textured covering yarn (22) is also provided between the texturing zone (12) and said first roller (B) of the combining means.
