Abstract: A disc segment adapted to be attached to other disc segments to form a disc assembly, the disc segment including an isosceles trapezoid frame. The frame comprises a left side rail and a right side rail, and a plurality of spaced apart parallel horizontally extending ribs connected between the side rails. The frame defines a first disc side and an opposite second disc side, each disc side including a corrugated left bottom clamp list adjacent the left side rail and supported by the ribs, and a corrugated right bottom clamp list adjacent the right side rail and supported by the ribs. Each disc side also includes a corrugated wire mesh supported by the left and right clamp lists, and supported by the frame ribs.

Abstract: An apparatus comprising a chamber enclosing a flow path of a first fluid and having a second inlet arranged downstream of the first inlet for receiving a second fluid. The apparatus further comprises a vertically adjustable throttle body an end portion comprising three parts, the first part being upstream of the second part, the third part being downstream of the second part, wherein, in an operating position, the second inlet is upstream of the third part of the throttle body and downstream of the first inlet and wherein the first part and the third part of the end portion are adapted to achieve a higher flow rate than the second part.
Abstract: 1. A hydrocyclone for separating a fiber suspension into a heavy fraction and including a distribution head for supplying a fluid to the separation chamber, which distribution head is situated centrally in the separation chamber relatively close to the other end. The distribution head has at least one outlet passage designed for spraying a fluid jet, the fluid jet having a flow component in the direction towards the other end of the separation chamber, and the fluid jet having another flow component directed towards the one end.
