Patent number: 11619383Abstract: Embodiments are directed toward a burn bucket. The burn bucket preferably includes a body, a door moveably coupled to the body, and a lifting machine interface coupled to the body. The body preferably defines an inner burn space. The lifting machine interface is preferably configured to receive a portion of a machine that tilts the burn bucket to transition the burn bucket between a closed configuration in which the door is closed and a dumping configuration in which the door is open to facilitate dumping burnt material out of the inner burn space.Type: GrantFiled: August 14, 2020Date of Patent: April 4, 2023Assignee: Global Polymer Industries, Inc.Inventors: Todd M. Patent number: 9045205Abstract: A floatable boat ramp is disclosed including a plurality of hollow planks arranged parallel to one another such that the upper surfaces thereof define a drivable surface. A plurality of flexible channels couple cavities defined by adjacent planks of the plurality of hollow planks to one another a first end plank defines one or more openings to allow inlet and outlet of air and water in order to cause the boat ramp to sink or float. The interior cavity of the planks may be divided into right and left hand portions. Left and right hand channels coupled the right and left hand portions, respectively, of adjacent planks to one another. A second end plank includes a continuous cavity and allows fluid communication between left and right hand portions of the other planks. The planks may be coupled together by cables extending through sleeves rotatably mounted to the ends thereof.Type: GrantFiled: March 14, 2013Date of Patent: June 2, 2015Assignee: Global Polymer Industries, Inc.Inventors: Jody L. Patent number: 7905555Abstract: A yaw control system capable of detecting a predetermined yaw angle of a towed vehicle and then automatically communicating with a braking system of the towed vehicle includes an actuator and a switch. The actuator and switch operate to detect when a towed vehicle, such as a trailer, has exceeded a predetermined yaw angle. In one embodiment, the yaw control system includes a switch arranged to contact a surface of a plate (i.e., actuator) when the towed vehicle exceeds the predetermined yaw angle. In another embodiment, the yaw control system includes a switch mechanism arranged to contact retractable rods (i.e., actuator) coupled to a hitch assembly when the towed vehicle exceeds the predetermined yaw angle.Type: GrantFiled: August 16, 2007Date of Patent: March 15, 2011Assignee: Global Polymer Industries, Inc.Inventor: Todd M. Publication number: 20080164677Abstract: A fifth wheel hitch lube plate includes a support plate moldably coupled to a cover. By way of example, the support plate is a metallic plate with a number of openings and/or cavities. Some of the openings are configured to receive fasteners while other openings, referred to as cover locking cavities, are configured to cooperate with the cover during the molding operation to mechanically lock or couple the cover to the support plate. The cover locking cavities include an upper, narrow passage that is in communication with a lower, larger cavity. At least a portion of the cover is supported by a top surface of the support plate.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 4, 2007Publication date: July 10, 2008Applicant: Global Polymer Industries, Inc.Inventor: Todd M. Patent number: 6641769Abstract: The present invention concerns a composite article having joined ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene and melt-flowable polyethylene portions and method of making the same. The ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene portion has a textured surface with a pattern of ribs which may vary in shape and configuration, such as a series of parallel ribs or a plurality of pins of various cross-sectional shapes, e.g., oval, round or rectangles. The melt-flowable polyethylene portion is melt-bonded to or fused to the ribs of the ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene portion providing high bond strengths between the two portions. In the method of the invention, a ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene portion having a rib surface is contacted with molten, melt-flowable polyethylene. The molten, melt-flowable polyethylene is at a sufficient temperature that the temperature of the ribs is raised quickly to a temperature enabling the melt-flowable polyethylene to strongly melt-bond to the ribbed surface.Type: GrantFiled: March 27, 2001Date of Patent: November 4, 2003Assignee: Global Polymer Industries, Inc.Inventor: Todd Huntimer

Patent number: 6010141Abstract: A molded bearing plate of ultra high molecular weight polyethylene is formed with a bearing surface and series of strong, spaced, integrally formed posts extending from the opposed surface. A metal support plate is provided with a series of perforations through which the posts extend. The posts may have exteriorly threaded surfaces, and internally threaded fasteners may be threaded onto the posts to secure the molded bearing plate to the support plate. The posts are integrally formed with the bearing plate in a compression molding operation, and offer sufficient tensile strength to firmly attach the bearing plate to the metal plate. The bearing plate assembly is particularly suitable for use as a fifth wheel assembly.Type: GrantFiled: August 6, 1997Date of Patent: January 4, 2000Assignee: Global Polymer Industries, Inc.Inventors: Todd Huntimer, Jeff Marcus Terry
