Abstract: A fishing reel includes a spool supported between side plates of a reel body through a spool shaft; and a clutch mechanism that switches between a power transmission state that winds a fishing line and a power cutoff state capable of unwinding a fishing line by moving a pinion gear of a winding drive mechanism in an axial direction of the spool shaft by operating the switching operation member provided on the reel body to engage and disengage clutch engagement portions of the spool shaft and the pinion gear, wherein, provided between the bearing that supports the spool shaft and the clutch engagement portion on the spool shaft side are: a first elastic portion applying an elastic force to an end of the pinion gear in the power transmission state; and a second elastic portion constantly energizing a side of the bearing in the axial direction of the spool shaft.
Abstract: One object is to provide a fishing rod in which stability in securing a fitting is achieved. The fishing rod includes a molded rod section having a surface and the fitting placed on the surface, the fitting having a securing portion and being secured to the surface with a sheet member made of a thermosetting resin that is wound on the securing portion and heat-cured. The sheet member includes a first sheet member and a second sheet member made of thermosetting resins, the first sheet member being placed or wound on the rod section, the second sheet member being wound over the first sheet member and the securing portion placed on the first sheet member. The thermosetting resins of the first sheet member and the second sheet member have different curing temperatures from each other.
Abstract: A double bearing reel includes a spool braking device that rotatably supports a spool including a bobbin body on which a fishing line is wound and flange portions formed on both sides of the bobbin body between side plates of a reel body and that applies a braking force to the rotation of the spool, wherein the spool braking device includes a conductive annular body that rotates integrally with the spool and a magnet facing outer peripheral surface of the conductive annular body, and the conductive annular body and the magnet are disposed axially inward of an outer end surface of the flange portions and radially inward of the bobbin body.
Abstract: One object is to provide a fishing line guide including a high-hardness guide ring and a fishing rod provided with said fishing line guide. A fishing line guide according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a guide body with a through hole formed therein and a guide ring fitted into the through hole of the guide body. In one aspect, the guide ring includes a base material layer and a surface layer formed on a surface of the base material layer. In one aspect of the present invention, the base material layer is formed of an alloy having an Fe content of 3 wt % or less or 2 wt % or less. In one aspect of the present invention, the surface layer is formed of chromium carbide, titanium carbide, or vanadium carbide.
Abstract: One object is to provide a reel leg fixing apparatus including a hood portion having an efficiently reduced thickness and weight while maintaining a sufficient strength. Another object of the present invention is to provide a reel leg fixing apparatus including a hood portion having a reduced thickness and weight while efficiently ensuring necessary strength at relevant portions, and a method of fabricating the reel leg fixing apparatus. Still another object of the present invention is to provide a reel leg fixing apparatus including a hood portion having an oblique end that allows weight reduction and maintains a sufficient strength.

Abstract: There is provided a fishing rod preventing or suppressing deviation or inclination of a fitting on a surface of a rod body. The fishing rod includes an elongated cylindrical rod body, a fitting having a mounting portion and mounted to an outer peripheral surface of the rod body via the mounting portion, a first layer formed by winding a first sheet so as to enclose the mounting portion and the rod body, the first sheet being made of a fiber-reinforced resin or a resin having a thermal shrinkage rate of 2.5% or lower, and a second layer formed by winding a second sheet made of a fiber-reinforced resin on an outer side of the first sheet, wherein a temperature at which a loss tangent of the first sheet has a maximum value is different from a temperature at which a loss tangent of the second sheet has a maximum value.
Abstract: One object of the present invention is to provide a guide ring less prone to break due to an impact or wear. A fishing line guide according to one aspect of the present invention is to be used on a fishing rod and includes a guide body with a through hole formed therein and a guide ring fitted into the through hole of the guide body. The guide ring has a top portion that is most distant from the fishing rod in a vertical direction extending vertically with respect to an axial direction of the fishing rod, and the guide ring is configured such that a thickness of a guide rear portion on a rear side relative to the top portion is larger than that of a guide front portion on a front side relative to the top portion.

Abstract: One object is to provide a drone capable of achieving desired performance by preventing entry of foreign matter such as water droplets or dust particularly into a power portion thereof. A drone of the present invention is provided with a fixed section having a motor housing for housing a motor therein and a rotary section having a propeller shaft supported via a bearing so as to be rotatable with respect to the motor housing and configured to rotate integrally with the propeller. In an opposed portion where fixed-side components constituting the fixed section and rotary-side components constituting the rotary section are opposed to each other, there is provided a foreign matter entry prevention unit configured to prevent foreign matter from entering an inside of the motor housing.
Abstract: The present invention provides a fishing spinning reel including a reel unit and a rotor that is rotatably supported by the reel unit. The reel unit includes: a body that has a side opening portion and in which a spool reciprocating device is housed and supported; a lid that closes the side opening portion; and a cover member mounted on a rear portion of the body. A handle shaft is rotatably supported by the body and the lid. In the rear portion of the body, a rear opening portion for receiving at least a part of a component of the spool reciprocating device and disposing the component on the rear side is formed. The cover member covers the rear opening portion and the component.
Abstract: Provided is a soft lure in which interference in movements between adjacent wobbling portions in a front-rear direction is reduced. A soft lure according to one embodiment has a body and a plurality of legs each projecting out from a side of the body and arranged along a moving direction of the soft lure. The legs wobble in accordance with water flow when the soft lure moves. At least one leg among the plurality of legs has a connected portion connected with the body (trunk) where a thickness in an upper-lower direction is smaller than a thickness in the moving direction, and has a substantially middle portion situated outer from the connected portion. In the middle portion of the leg, a thickness in the upper-lower direction is larger than a thickness in the moving direction.

Provided is a fishing spinning reel including: a body constituting a reel unit and a cover member closing a rear opening portion formed in a rear portion of the body. The body has a fitting portion formed on a peripheral edge portion of the rear opening portion, the fitting portion having a tubular wall shape extending toward an inner portion of the cover member and fitted in the inner portion of the cover member. A seal member having an annular shape is interposed between the inner portion of the cover member and the fitting portion.

A magnetic fluid sealed bearing unit of the present invention has an inner ring and an outer ring, each made of a magnetic material, a plurality of rolling members interposed between the inner ring and the outer ring, a magnetic seal mechanism arranged between the inner ring and the outer ring and configured to inhibit entry of foreign substances toward the plurality of rolling members, a non-magnetic inner ring-side support member fitted and retained on the inner ring, and a non-magnetic outer ring-side support member fitted and retained on the outer ring.
