A marking device comprises a photoluminescent insert comprising N cast resinous layers, wherein N is an integer greater than or equal to one. A first one of the N cast resinous layers includes photoluminescent particles suspended therein. A fastener includes a first portion cast in the photoluminescent insert and a second portion extending outside of the photoluminescent insert.

A photoluminescent portion includes a light transmissive resin including a suspension of photoluminescent particles. The photoluminescent portion is arranged in the one of the cavity and the channel and wherein the light transmissive resin has an exposed outer surface that directly receives light.
