Abstract: An adjustable child seat includes a seat body having a seat back and a seat portion. The seat portion has a first base and a second base movably mounted to the first base. The child seat further includes a seat adjusting mechanism for adjusting the length of the seat to customize to differently sized children. In addition, the child seat includes a recline mechanism connected to the first and second bases to selectively tilt the seat body. The child seat can also include two adjustable armrests, and adjustable headrest, and an adjustable shoulder belt clip.

Abstract: A base for an infant car seat includes a tilt adjustment mechanism that provides multiple vertical locking positions for adjusting the attitude of the attached infant car seat relative to a vehicle seat cushion. The base can have a storage compartment for one or more latch assemblies used to latch the base to the vehicle seat anchorages.

Abstract: A non-motorized object hanger for use with a swing having a seat hanger tube supported from a hub and a seat coupled to the seat hanger tube. The object hanger comprises a support member coupled to one of the seat hanger tube and seat. A hanger is coupled to the support member. A decorative object is coupled to the hanger, wherein motion is imparted to the support member by the motion of the swing. Another embodiment provides the support member is offset from the access of the hub.

Abstract: A convertible activity center has a tray that can be locked in a closed loop position with an attached seat to contain an infant and unlocked with the seat removed to an open position, creating a play space from which a toddler can enter and exit at will, or interact with it from the outside. The activity center can also have convertible toys. The same toys that an infant can enjoy can be converted to toys suitable for an older infant or toddler.

Abstract: A seat belt position adjusting arrangement for a seat having a backrest has a mounting bracket adapted to fixedly secured to an upper portion of the backrest, and a belt receiving member which is adapted to threadedly receive a shoulder belt of a vehicle seat belt. The belt receiving member is operatively connected to the mounting bracket, selectively slidable along the mounting bracket and locatable in a selected position on the mounting bracket.

Abstract: A stroller includes a stroller frame and a seat assembly attached to the stroller frame. The seat assembly has a seat and a backrest extending from a back side of the seat. The stroller also includes an infant retention member having a main section mounted to the seat assembly. The retention member is movable between a stowed position and a use position. When the retention member is in the stowed position, the main section lies over the seat so that an infant sitting on the seat sits on the main section. When the retention member is in the use position, the main section stands substantially upright from the seat to block forward movement of an infant lying on the seat.

Abstract: A child seat structure for attachment to a stroller frame includes a child seat having a seat cushion and a seat back support. The seat cushion has a front portion with at least one tab affixed thereto. The child seat structure also includes a passenger support base attachable to the stroller frame. The passenger support base has a trough and at least one opening through the trough. The passenger support base also has at least one projection thereon, such that the tab can pass through the opening and connect to the projection to secure the front portion of the seat cushion in the trough of the passenger support base.

Abstract: A chair is provided that includes a seat member, a back rest pivotally connected to the seat member, and first and second recline mechanisms. The seat member includes a first back rest support portion and a second back rest support portion. The back rest support portions each have a tooth-receiving member at an upper exterior surface. The recline mechanisms each include a lever mounted to the back rest. The lever of each recline mechanism has a tooth for receipt in a respective tooth-receiving member, and the lever is movable between an engaged state and a disengaged state. When the lever is in the engaged state, the tooth engages the tooth-receiving member to prevent rearward pivotal motion of the back rest relative to the seat member. When the lever is in the disengaged state, the tooth is disengaged from the tooth-receiving member. When the levers of the recline mechanisms are both in the disengaged state, the back rest is allowed to pivot relative to the seat member.

Abstract: A latch system for attaching a child seat to an anchorage of a vehicle seat includes a first latch device connected to a first end of a length of webbing, an adjuster connected to a second end of the length of webbing, and a second latch device. The adjuster has a plate member extending from one end, and the plate member has a connection opening formed therein. The second latch device includes a main member having a hook formed at a first end and a connection aperture at a second end that is distal from the first end. A portion of the second end of the main member passes through the connection opening, and a portion of the plate member passes through the connection aperture.

Abstract: A suspension assembly in a seat has a clamp for coupling the seat to a support and a seat having a seat ring, seat web, and seat material. The suspension assembly comprises a web link having a link slot and is coupled to the clamp. A first web is configured in a closed loop and coupled to the web link through the link slot. A tube defining an interior cavity is provided, with the tube having a spring retainer on one end and an anchor pin on the other end. The anchor pin is threaded through the loop of the first web, wherein the tube is coupled to the web link. A spring is nested in the interior cavity of the tube against the spring retainer. A disk having a disk slot is coupled to a second web at one end of the second web. The other end of the second web is passed through the spring in the tube and coupled to a web spreader. The web spreader has a seat slot wherein the seat web engages the seat slot to suspend the seat assembly.

Abstract: A child swing includes a frame, a seat including a seat back, and at least one hanger arm that connects the seat to the frame. The seat back of the swing seat is positionable in a first in-use position, in a second in-use position in which the seat back is adjusted rearward relative to its first in-use position, and in a fold position in which the seat back is adjusted forward relative to its first in-use position. The frame may be movable between an in-use position and a fold position. In this regard, the seat back may be positionable in its first and second in-use positions while the frame is in its in-use position, and the seat back may be positionable in its fold position while the frame in is its fold position.

Abstract: An accessory bridge, having a storage compartment, adapted to be secured to the upper portion of the handle of a stroller, above a so-called “parent console;” and a stroller including such an accessory bridge. The accessory bridge preferably is secured at its bottom to the top of the console, and at its top to the handgrip portion of the handle. The storage compartment may be within a tilt-out bin that is accessible from the rear, such that it can be accessed when the stroller is open, as well as when it is folded. A front opening allows the dispensing of articles (e.g., tissues) carried by the accessory bridge.

Abstract: A stroller having a novel frame geometry that provides a more direct structural tie between the front and the rear wheels. The two rear legs (bottom members) of the frame are disposed at a relatively small angle to the horizontal and remain close to that shallow angle as the stroller is folded, with all four wheels on the ground. The rear leg assembly is pivotally linked to the front leg assembly, so that the front leg assembly collapses onto the rear leg assembly when the stroller is folded. The front legs and the rear legs preferably have a similar profile so that they generally nest when folded. The front legs and the rear legs preferably have oval or oblong cross-sections, which enhances their vertical load strength.

Abstract: A foldable stroller with a basket, the basket having a frame with left and right side legs pivotally mounted to the stroller frame for movement between an upper position and a lower position. The legs of the basket frame are supported on side members of the stroller frame that pivot as the stroller frame moves between its folded and open positions, so that folding or unfolding of the stroller frame effects pivotal movement of the basket frame between its lower and upper positions. In another form, a stroller with a basket has handle-operated support members for the side legs of the basket frame that selectively support the basket frame in an upper position, and allow the basket frame to drop to a lower position for easier access to basket interior through the upper opening of the basket.

Abstract: A convertible activity center has a tray that can be locked in a closed loop position with an attached seat to contain an infant and unlocked with the seat removed to an open position, creating a play space from which a toddler can enter and exit at will, or interact with it from the outside. The activity center can also have convertible toys. The same toys that an infant can enjoy can be converted to toys suitable for an older infant or toddler.

Abstract: The present invention provides a stroller having a programmable information module. The information module is configured to provide at least one user-programmable function. The information module communicates with a display unit to display, for example, power on, a timer start/stop control, ambient temperature, distance walked/jogged, a calorie count, a timer, a speed, or other desired information. In one embodiment, the stroller includes a collapsible frame wherein the programmable information module is attached to the handle frame and is configured to provide at least one user-programmable function. The stroller can have front right, front left, rear right, and rear left legs pivotally connected to the handle frame and a seat frame that has an intermediate bar and right and left arms that extend from the intermediate bar.

Abstract: A child seat structure for attachment to a stroller frame includes a child seat having a seat cushion and a seat back support. The seat cushion has a front portion with at least one tab affixed thereto. The child seat structure also includes a passenger support base attachable to the stroller frame. The passenger support base has a trough and at least one opening through the trough.
