Abstract: A three-dimensional, 3D, knitted fabric is knitted by a double-bed weft-knitting machine. The knitted fabric comprises a top layer, a bottom layer, and an intermediate layer, wherein the top layer and the bottom layer are joined together by cross-yarns constituting the intermediate layer, and wherein at least the top layer comprises two-folded cut-resistant yarns.

Abstract: Ratchet mill assemblies to permit precise horizontal cutting, one ratchet mill assembly comprising: a shaft with polygonal cross-section, wherein the shaft with polygonal cross-section can rotate and is supported by bearing brackets where each bearing bracket is attached to an end bracket; a handle bar coupled to end brackets by a handle boss on each end bracket; two pinion sprockets coupled to the shaft with polygonal cross-section; and two depth posts, each depth post having depth markings, and each depth post having a corresponding end bracket held in place on the corresponding depth post by a post clamp, wherein at least one post clamp is secured and tightened by way of a half U-bolt and a toggle lock clamp, wherein each pinion sprocket engages rack holes on a corresponding depth post to allow movement of a corresponding end bracket up and down the corresponding depth post.

Abstract: A portable traction device includes a frame which has an upper surface to support the individual to be subjected to traction. The frame has at least one mounting point at one end of the upper surface. At least one tension member emanates from the frame and has a free end passing through the mounting point and back toward the upper surface of the frame. The free end of the tension member is secured to the individual who is to be subjected to traction. A takeup mechanism for applying tension to the tension member is located on the frame. The takeup mechanism is activated, usually by the patient. The activation mechanism is adapted to disengage when the applied tension reaches a preselected value, while maintaining the preselected tension on the tension member.

Abstract: A garden tool which allows the user to rake, cultivate, thatch, weed and aerate the soil is disclosed. The tool comprises a handle and a work head which includes a number of partially rotatable earth-working elements. One end of each element is specifically adapted to travel the surface of the soil to sever weeds and to cultivate and aerate the soil. The opposite end of each element is adapted to act as a rake for raking and thatching grass lawns. The rake side of the tool can also be used to weed, cultivate and aerate by causing the tips of the elements to penetrate the soil and work it loose.

Abstract: A log sawing attachment for a chain saw which includes a moveable guide frame which can be clamped to the cutter bar of the chain saw and can be variably spaced therefrom. The frame guides the chain saw to make pre-selected depth of cut along the log being sawed to form a uniform thickness board.
