Publication number: 20070063339Abstract: In a heat dissipating assembly for heat dissipating substrate and application, a heat dissipating substrate is made of a graphite layer and a thermal conductive metal layer covered onto the surface of the graphite layer, so that when the heat dissipating substrate is placed on a heat source, the graphite in a specific direction has a thermal conductivity faster than general thermal conductive metal materials, and the graphite layer can quickly conduct the heat produced by the heat source. Since the heat conduction of the graphite is anisotropic, therefore the graphite layer of the invention can quickly conduct heat and also can improve the structural strength of the metal layer and facilitate the formation, and heat can be dissipated to the outside by the isotropic thermal conductivity property.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 21, 2005Publication date: March 22, 2007Applicant: GRAND POWER SOURCES INC.Inventor: Pei-Chih Yao

Publication number: 20070062676Abstract: A heat sink module includes a base having a metal heat dissipating fin set, and the base includes a planar base member comprised of a plurality of graphite layers, and said planar base member embeds a vertical insert having a high thermal conductivity, and the insert comprises a graphite compound disposed vertically with the base member for conducting heat or an isotropic thermal conductive metal compound, or a thermal conductive material compound that produces a phase change by heat, and the base member includes a thermal conductive frame having an isotropic high thermal conductivity and disposed at the periphery, and the thermal conductive frame and the base member are combined to form a heat dissipating base. When the heat sink module is in use, the area proximate to the inserts is attached to the core of a heat source core, so that the inserts can absorb and conduct the heat produced by the heat source quickly.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 20, 2005Publication date: March 22, 2007Applicant: GRAND POWER SOURCES INC.Inventor: Pei-Chih Yao

Patent number: 7130201Abstract: The present invention discloses a power supply device for outputting a stable programmable power supply, which comprises a transformer disposed at a DC output end of the power supply device, and a clamp circuit connected to a secondary current of the transformer. Since the clamp circuit is disposed on the secondary current of the transformer, therefore it does not require a high DC voltage to drive the clamp circuit. The clamp circuit can release the high voltage produced when the metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistor (MOSFET) is off, and thus reducing the high voltage borne by the MOSFET to enhance the reliability of the MOSFET. Additionally, the present invention can prevent the transformer from being saturated due to magnetic leakage, inductance, and stored energies released or eliminated from the transformer.Type: GrantFiled: May 14, 2004Date of Patent: October 31, 2006Assignee: Grand Power Sources Inc.Inventor: Pei-Chih Yao
