Abstract: Apparatus and methods for a storm drain grate guard are provided. An apparatus may include an annular apex support member, an apex member affixed to the apex support member, and an annular intermediate support member having a circumference larger than the apex support member. The apparatus may further include a first portion forming a conical frustum between the apex support member and the intermediate support. The apparatus may additionally include an annular base support member having a circumference equal to or larger than the intermediate support. The apparatus may still further include a second portion between the intermediate support member and the base support member. The apparatus may also further include at least three vertical members each peripherally connected to the apex support member, the first portion, the intermediate support member, the second portion, and base support member such that the vertical members surround a longitudinal axis.
