  • Patent number: 6950713
Abstract: A method for creating a three-dimensional engraving within a solid. A three-dimensional illustration of the solid is scanned into a numerical controller associated with a machining center. The 3D illustration is projected in the solid according to individual depths of cut. The solid is machined according to its project depths. Shading is accomplished according to depth of cut and by immersing the solid into oxide bath and successively abrasively removing a darkened coating according to depth of cut. Powder coating with a thermoset plastic, baking and curing steps provide a transparent coating to the solid.

  • Patent number: 6345422
Abstract: A combination vault and casket assembly constructed of a vacuum formed polystyrene material and incorporating ballast stabilization during underground interment. A body includes a bottom, first and second upwardly extending side walls and first and second interconnecting end walls within which are defined inwardly vacuum formed depressions and which define in combination an upwardly facing perimeter. An arcuately shaped lid includes a downwardly facing perimeter edge capable of being matingly engaged with the upwardly facing perimeter edge to secure the lid to the body. A substantially planar shaped platform base has an upper face and a lower face, the upper face being configured about an outer raised and perimeter edge to receive the bottom of the body in slidably resistive fashion. An interior canyon of the platform base further includes a plurality of individual raised surfaces defining upper projections and reverse faces of the projections define corresponding recessed surfaces within the lower face.

  • Patent number: 6250025
Abstract: An assembleable repository tower for holding individual quantities of burial remains including a platform base and a first plurality of four upwardly extending and elongate members. Each of the first members further includes a webbed configuration defining an axially extending and substantially hollowed interior. A second plurality of elongate members are second to selected faces of first and second of the first plurality of members. Each of the second members are assembled with the first members so that the tower is of a specified height and establishes four upwardly extending sides. A plurality of niche members are engageable with each of the upwardly extending sides, each of the niche members including a plurality of receptacle portions recessed inwardly from the associated side and which are suitable for holding a quantity of burial remains.
