Patents Assigned to Groeneveld Transport Efficiency B.V.
  • Patent number: 9309795
Abstract: Disclosed is an oil management system for an internal combustion engine that includes a crankcase. The oil management system includes a first container for storage of a first quantity of oil and a second container for temporary storage of a predetermined second quantity of oil. The oil management system further includes a pump arranged for operating in a first and a second mode, in which modes oil is transferrable respectively to and from the second container, and a flow measuring unit arranged for measuring an oil flow to or from the second container when the pump is operating. The oil management system is arranged for delivery of the predetermined second quantity of oil to the crankcase in dependence of the measured oil flow. Also described is a method for oil management of an internal combustion engine that includes a crankcase.

  • Patent number: 9261233
Abstract: A device (1) for dispensing charges of a fluid includes a housing (2) provided with a first (3) and a second (4) inlet for a first and a second flow of fluid to flow into the device. First and second fluid communication elements (9, 10) are arranged between the first (3) and second (4) inlets and a first chamber (6). A piston (11) in the first chamber (6) is arranged for keeping the first and the second flows separated. A plunger (13) in a second chamber (14) is arranged for establishing alternately a first charge out of the first flow and a second charge out of the second flow. Third (17), fourth (18) and fifth (19) fluid communication elements arranged between the first and the second chambers and an outlet (20) in cooperation with the piston and the plunger enable alternately dispensing the first and second charges at the outlet.

  • Patent number: 5538407
Abstract: Fluid proportions system for proportioning a fluid intermittently at various places. This fluid comes from a storage point and is added by an intermittently operating pump to a proportioner, which feeds a fixed volume of fluid to an outlet more or less independently of the pressure. For returning the reciprocating piston present in the proportioner, use is made of a further fluid which is connected to the proportioner by a further inlet line. A forced return movement of the piston is thereby achieved. Proportioning of fluid is realized by the proportioning fluid itself while return movement in the proportioner of the piston is realized by the control fluid.

  • Patent number: 5056622
Abstract: An oil level regulator for an internal combustion engine, provided with a lubricating oil sump and a starter motor operated by an ignition switch having an ignition lock. An enclosed measuring chamber communicates with the oil in the engine sump, so that the same oil level occurs in the measuring chamber as in the sump. A tank for topping-up oil is connected to the sump by a controllable shut-off device. A level measuring device in the form of a sensor emits an electrical signal as to whether the oil level is correct or too low. If "correct", then the ignition lock is released for a predetermined period, so that the engine can be started. If "too low", a shut-off device is opened for a predetermined period, to allow a certain quantity of oil to the sump, then to measure the oil level again and, if "correct", to release the ignition lock.
