    Abstract: The present invention relates to a herbicide delivery method and a product for delivery to a plant wherein the plant has a generally hollow stem. A particular example of such a plant is Japanese knotweed. The present invention relates to a method of administering a herbicide to a plant comprising the steps of providing an opening in the stem of a plant wherein the stem comprises a tubular portion having a cavity therein and inserting a consumable delivery means comprising at least a herbicide into the opening in the stem of the plant. The herbicide may be provided in a consumable capsule.
