The net of the invention has a plurality of improved knots, each of which knots has four leg strings extending separately in four directions and one or both of the loops of warp and weft overlie each crotch formed of a pair of adjoining leg strings. Further, the knots are easily formed and tightened but hardly loosened or worn so that a well-ordered diamond pattern of the net is always formed when the net is spread.
