Abstract: A clip for use with a carton having folding closure flaps wherein such clip may be selectively used to maintain such flaps in a closed position or to maintain adjacent flaps in an open position. The structure of the clip includes separate wing-like members interconnected at base portions thereof and an elongated leg connected to such wings at their base portions and extending therebetween preferably to a position substantially forward of the forward terminal portions of such wings. Portions of the carton are disposed in frictional engagement between the lower surfaces of the wings and the upper surface of the leg when the device is utilized in either of its above indicated alternative modes.

Abstract: A walking doll having a hollow body on which arms and legs are mounted, the legs being mounted for pivotal movement to effect a walking action, a pneumatically operated assembly being located within said body and interconnected to the legs for producing the pivotal movement thereof, the pneumatically operated assembly including independently operated bellows units that communicate with manually operated members that define the hands of the doll and that are responsive to alternate pressure exerted thereon for producing the walking action of the legs.

Abstract: A doll construction having a relatively flexible body to which leg members and arms are joined, an arm assembly being located in the body adjacent to the upper end thereof and extending outwardly of the body into the arms to define therewith arm members, the arm assembly including a plurality of hingedly connected segments that are movable from a fully opened to a fully closed position. The body, leg members and arms may be made of a flexible cover member which may have foamed material therein. The arm assembly may be of polypropylene.

Abstract: A toy simulating a walking animal that includes a body on which axles are mounted in spaced relation, wheels being mounted on the axles for rotation therewith. Levers simulating legs of an animal are secured to the wheels in offset eccentric relation and are reciprocably movable upon rotation of the wheels. A spring assembly is interconnected to the front axle and is responsive to the withdrawal and release of a draw-string for producing rotation of the front axle and a corresponding propelling movement of the body. The legs as secured to the wheels are constructed and arranged for reciprocable movement upon rotation of the wheels and propelling movement of the body for imparting a simulated walking action of the toy animal.

Abstract: A mechanism for effecting movement of simulated eyes as mounted in the head of a doll construction including an actuator mounted for rotating movement in the head and a connector member operatively connected to the actuator and being responsive to rotating movement thereof for movement in a linear direction, the eyes being interconnected to the connector member and being shiftable in response to linear movement thereof for location in a variety of selected positions to impart the impression of movement of said eyes.

Abstract: A toy figure or doll having movable joints that simulate the comparable movable parts of the human anatomy. A stretchable inner connector extends into the legs of the toy figure and is interconnected to a trunk portion and torso in such a manner that in the assembled position of the toy figure, the torso and legs thereof are movable relative to each other and to the trunk portion to various posed positions.

Abstract: A pencil sharpener having a base on which a sharpening assembly, including sharpening rollers, is mounted, a housing defined by a hollow figure formed of a flexible, deformable material and simulating the head of an animal enveloping the sharpening assembly, and a member being mounted for rotating movement with the sharpening assembly interiorly of the hollow figure and being engageable with the interior surfaces of the hollow figure, so that upon rotation of the sharpening assembly, the member distorts the simulated animal head to produce the effect that the simulated animal head is chewing the pencil during the pencil sharpening operation.
