Patents Assigned to Haweka Auswuchttechnik Horst Warkotsch GmbH
  • Patent number: 6290446
Abstract: A speed clamping nut to clamp the rim of a vehicle wheel on an end fitted with an outer thread of a shaft of a balancing machine, comprising a housing having at least one grip mounted in substantially radially manner to the housing, and an inside thread. A threaded component rotational about the screw axis of the speed clamping nut and relative to the housing is connected to the housing and comprises an inside thread and is connected with the drive side of a rotational drive system connected to the housing. Following engagement, the rotational drive system assumes the complex and time-consuming screwing-on procedure when the wheel rim is pulled against spring forces toward a centering cone.

  • Patent number: 6282799
Abstract: Device for affixing the wheel-alignment sensor is mounted on a main body at a given reference direction to it. Three support arms are mounted on the main body and run substantially radially in a plane which is perpendicular to the reference direction. Spacers are mounted on the support arms in transversely displaceable manner thereto. The spacer ends that will constitute a three-point support on a wheel rim are situated in a plane which is perpendicular to the reference direction. Element(s) to affix the main body to the wheel rim are provided. At least one of the spacers (24, 54) is adjustable transversely to its mounting arm. In this manner the position of the spacers can be matched to different pitches of wheel affixing nuts.

  • Patent number: 5987761
Abstract: An axle measurement holder device to fasten a measuring head to the rim (5) of a vehicle wheel (2), includes a base body (3) for direct or indirect stable contact with a rim (5) of a vehicle wheel (2). Two arms (13, 14) arranged diametrically opposed feature respective hooks (15, 16) at their ends that are directed radially outward to hook into a tread of a tire (17). The ends of the arms (13, 14) directed radially toward the inside are attached by means of a pivot bearing (11, 12) to the end of a one armed lever (13, 14), the end of which is directed away from the base body (3), the other end of which is connected to the base body (3) via an articulation (20, 21) and tension springs (22, 23). The one armed levers (7, 8) can be tensed radially inward by means of clamping devices. The one armed levers (7, 8) are each preloaded radially toward the outside by centering springs (33, 34) which exert the same force and have the same characteristics and which are supported at a central point of the base body (3).

  • Patent number: 5665911
Abstract: Mounting flange for a mounting fixture for mounting wheels from different makes of of motor vehicles on the shaft of a balancing machine. The mounting flange has multiple sets of centering holes lying on concentric circles surrounding the central guide hole for axial guidance of the flange on the shaft of the balancing machine. The centering holes receive centering pins terminating in conical ends which fit into the mounting holes in the automobile wheel being balanced. The centering holes of each set are identified by an appearance different from any other set, provided by a configuration or color in a depression in the surface of the mounting flange surrounding the centering hole. Thus, all the centering holes that belong to the same set can be quickly identified when inserting the centering pins. Because the identifying indicia are recessed, they are protected from wear and damage.
