The cap and base may have magnets that provide an attractive force that brings the cap and base together. The container in cosmetics applications is also discussed.

The depressible thermal tip comprises a thermal applicator displaceable between open and closed positions. The thermal applicator may be depressibly coupled in a collar fixed to the housing, or the thermal applicator may be depressibly coupled in a button depressibly coupled in a collar fixed to the housing.

Abstract: Devices for dispensing and applying a cosmetic product include a container for holding a volume of cosmetic product and a cosmetic dispensing system. The container has a closed end at a lower end of the device and an open end facing an upper end of the device. The cosmetic dispensing system is coupled to the open end of the container and includes a tip having an outlet for dispensing cosmetic product, and an actuator configured to be manually depressed to deliver a portion of the volume of cosmetic product to the outlet. The actuator includes finger guides on opposite sides of the actuator, the finger guides disposed below the tip and providing opposing surfaces for depressing the actuator, moving the actuator towards the lower end of the device.

Abstract: A cosmetic brush cleaning apparatus and processes for streamlining cleaning, drying, and/or storing cosmetic brushes are described. The cosmetic brush cleaning apparatus may include elevated elements to aid in cleaning and drawing out make-up, dirt, debris, etc., in the fibrous heads of cosmetic brushes. The cosmetic brush cleaning apparatus may include draining mechanisms for removing excess water resulting from the cleaning process. The cosmetic brush cleaning apparatus may include an elevated wall that follows a contour of the cosmetic brush cleaning apparatus for retaining water within the elevated wall of the cosmetic cleaning apparatus and/or securing cosmetic brushes for drying and storing cosmetic brushes. The cosmetic brush cleaning apparatus may include one or more additional drying elements for drying and/or storing the cosmetic brushes. The cosmetic brush cleaning system enables users to deep clean cosmetic brushes efficiently and conveniently dry and/or store the cosmetic brushes.

A thermal storage mechanism is disposed on the applicator spaced from the opening in the applicator and provides an application surface for contacting a user.

Abstract: Two-in-one cosmetic systems having a tweezer removably disposed in a handle are disclosed. The tweezer may be removably disposed in a handle of the applicator, such that the tweezer is restrained and a pinching tip of the tweezer is in a closed position. By virtue of having a tweezer restrained and having a pinching tip in a closed position, the pinching tip of the tweezers remain sharp and undamaged until a time of use.

Abstract: Cosmetics packaging and applicators including a gel based tip are described. Gel applicators may or may not be provided with a through-hole. In various embodiments, the gel may be a stand-alone gel or may be encapsulated in a membrane. The gel applicator provides a soft feel and may have cooling effect as well. In some embodiments, the applicator is mounted to a platform or a hollow insert and coupled to a container housing the cosmetics product.
