Abstract: An environment cognition system for construction machinery includes a first sensor installed on an upper surface of a cabin of the construction machinery to obtain shape information on a front ground, and a second senor installed on a lower surface of a boom of the construction machinery to obtain shape information data in an excavation area. The second sensor is installed in a region that does not overlap a trajectory of a circle drawn by an end of a bucket, with the arm folded as far as possible.

Abstract: Provided is a valve control apparatus for an engine that opens and closes an exhaust valve and intake value of the engine while rotating in conjunction with a crankshaft of the engine, the valve control apparatus including an exhaust valve opening and closing device opening and closing the exhaust valve during a first exhaust valve opening period and an intake valve opening and closing device opening and closing the intake valve during a first intake valve opening period.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a soil distribution planning system. The soil distribution planning system according to an embodiment includes a grid-model generation module configured to receive information about three-dimensional (3D) topography, ground and a target model and generate a 3D grid model by dividing a target area; an earthwork-volume calculation module configured to calculate an earthwork volume of each grid model generated by the grid-model generation module and store the calculated earthwork volume in a database; and an earthwork-volume distribution module configured to distribute the earthwork volume of a cutting area to a banking area based on the earthwork volume stored in the database.

Abstract: A control system for a wheel loader includes an upper sensor installed in a driver cabin to obtain shape information data for an object in front of the driver cabin, a lower sensor installed in a front body to obtain shape information data for an object in front of the front body, a work apparatus position detection portion configured to detect a position of a work apparatus connected rotatably to the front body, and an obstacle detection control device configured to receive the shape information data from the upper sensor and the lower sensor and configured to calculate a distance to the object based on the information data of any one selected from the upper sensor and the lower sensor according to the detected position of the work apparatus.
