    Abstract: A display device for an ultrasound image, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: an input/output interface unit including a touch screen for displaying an ultrasound image of a biological tissue so as to recognize a user's touch point when the user touches the touch screen on which the ultrasound image is displayed; an edge detection unit for detecting at least one edge portion that is adjacent to the recognized touch point on the ultrasound image; and a control unit for controlling an edge curve, corresponding to the detected edge portion, to be superposed and displayed onto the ultrasound image, and detecting size information about the biological tissue according to the type of the displayed edge curve, wherein the input/output interface outputs, according to the control of the control unit, the detected size information.
